McDonald's — Restaurant in Lebanon

so, i go to the drive thru which is always slow at this location but my kid asked for chicken nuggets. no big deal, i am ready to sit for a while because they are always slow. after 20 minutes, i get to the window and i sit and i sit and i sit. while i am waiting for 2 fillet of fish and a 10 piece nuggets i observe 4-5 people just standing around having a blast. a short fat latino woman licking her fingers as she works the fry station then sticks her hand in the fries. the woman who appears to be the manager with a headset on is walking back and forth with a broom that never once touched the floor. after several minutes of watching these lazy overpaid leaches not earn their paychecks the drive-thru worker comes to the window. he asks me to pull forward and they would bring my order out to me. i said no. i been sitting here long enough my order would be ready if 1 of you would do your job. so get this. he turns around and grabs a bag off the counter behind him and hands it to me. i look in the bag and it is my order. my order had been ready and they were going to make me pull up and wait. my order was literally done and just sitting there while they played around. i have never been anywhere that the whole crew deserves to be fired before. every one of them does not deserve a paycheck including the manager that was running that shift. from just plain playing around and not doing their jobs to sticking her fingers in the food after she licked them to terrible customer service every one of them deserves...

Cheap, but prices are going up these days in ways I find intolerable for the basest of fast food joints. McDonald's is the bottom of the barrel, in comparison to other places such as Taco Bell, Checker's/Rally's, White Castle, Smash Burger, and more. The only saving grace is their McGangBangs (not an official item, but a combination of the McDouble and a McChicken, which is delicious, and made even better with 3 chicken nuggets in the middle), Tropical Berry Sprite, frappés, iced coffees, shakes, McFlurries, and McGriddles. But even most all of those I find entirely too expensive in light of how filling they are, quality of the ingredients used, and the like. McDonald's has become a last choice for fast food for my family these days, and is only ever gone too as a matter of convenience or to break the monotony of our usual preferred choices of Wendy's (my wife is a fan, and I only really enjoy their Frosty's, but otherwise avoid them if possible), Taco Bell (my go-to place, and believe it or not, between the major fast food franchises, the healthiest food choice, and also the most bang for your buck, if you don't count Little Caesar's), Little Caesar's, and Cook Out (phenomenal food, but make sure to ask for the trays, not for simply the sandwiches, as the trays give more food, and are cheaper in the end, but aren't listed directly on the menu, which I find odd and preposterous). (Sadly, as far as I know we don't have Smash Burger around the area, and White Castle is all the way...

I came in and noticed the nice additions they have done. It does look nice; once inside though; the tables looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I went to the counter to order my food and it took almost 10-15 minutes for someone to even notice I was standing there. The food was accurate, I got my food within 5-10 minutes. I realized I had no napkins in the bag; so I went back up to the counter and noticed a girl; who appeared to be a manager and a short Hispanic girl. I said excuse me; no answer. I said excuse me again; no answer. I finally raised my voice loud enough to where they realized I had been standing at the counter; also note; I am outspoken and don’t have a problem with speaking in a tone that people can hear me and understand me without sounding like I’m yelling at them. Once I got my napkins; naturally I say thank you; and while observing the atmosphere and just the employees body language and their reaction to customers; they look like they just don’t give a single care to even be there; they appear miserable and the store has a nice look but the entire store just doesn’t feel welcoming from the employees.
