Denny's — Restaurant in Leesburg

If I could give them no stars I would. I don't even know where to start it's pointless. But I'll go back to a few months ago when I went with my husband and son to this location. It was late night so we thought that it was going to be a better experience then usual. To make a long story short, after we were sat we were ignored, food was horrible, service was horrible, and when I did the survey the manager called me back asking me if I wanted free food which I declined thinking I would never eat there again. Today for some reason my husband and I were in the mood for some breakfast for dinner so we decided to give them another try hoping that it would be better than the time before. The waiter was fine, he kept apologizing, it wasn't his fault. We started with some mozzarella sticks which were okay even though they were cold we ate them. My husband got his food, the eggs were fine but the bacon and onion rings were cold. Then my plate..... I asked for the tbone steak with eggs onions cheese and broccoli. The waiter even asked why not the potatoes, I said (can't have potatoes) and he said he would substitute with broccoli for me. He comes to the table with no broccoli and with what looks like a steak that had slid off the plate and just slid back on. And when I looked under it, there was potatoes... He took my plate back and brought the same steak and the onions off that first plate only that it was a different plate. There is an obvious reason why I asked for no potatoes and then confirmed not being able to have potatoes with the waiter only to then know that my steak touched the potatoes and then they just moved it on to a different plate instead of making a whole new steak. I don't understand.. Why is it so hard for managment to make things right. This was the last time my family and I step foot in that restaurant. Oh and not to say the horrible smell coming from the restroom that we were seated next to, and had to ask for a seat change. We paid $31 for onion rings eggs mozzarella sticks 2drinks and a $5 tip. That's crazy.. We will never go in there again and will continue to tell everyone we know to stay away.. They don't care in making things right, just about making...

NASTY FOOD HORRID SERVICE!! I stayed at the motel next store and ordered a breakfast to go at 9:30 pm and went to pick it up and upon returning to the motel 3 minutes later it was ice cold and missing half the order. I called and told them the situation and at first they said they would only give the items that were missing but then when i said "by the time i get their and back to the motel my food would be ice cold" so they finally said they would give me a another full breakfast. So i walk over and wait another 20 minutes during a slow period and then make my way back to the motel in 2-3 minutes only to find another ice cold breakfast but this one also had five very long black hair on TOp of the breakfast that would seem the only way could have gotten their was from the cook himself. I think he was upset for having to make another breakfast because he messed up the first one. After i saw the five long black hairs in the breakfast i couldnt stomach eating it thinking that the cook was the kind of guy who would hock a loogie in someones food if he was irritated in any way even though its his own incompetence. Ill never eat at any denny ever again after this experience. Dennys use to be the mcdonalds of sit down dining but now its just another greasy spoon in my opinion. This place is disgusting. It's an absolute cesspool of gross. The carpet is saturated with filth, the upholstery on the booth seats were stained and beyond nasty, and the tables were sticky. This visit was a means of desperation for a sit down meal before heading out of town. NEVER AGAIN. Our server was clearing a table of guests that had just left, that was next to us, and she handed us their "extra napkins they didn't use" and acted like that was normal. Are you mad?!?!? After watching the wipe down procedure by the servers and seeing some gunk on the table, I took a santizing wipe from my bag and wiped it down. The wipe turned black. It is not okay to sling the food onto the seats. Ever! I witnessed multiple servers handling dirty dishes followed by handling money/receipts then bringing out plates of food to customers without ever washing their hands or even making an attempt to exercise proper food handler's guidelines. Needless to say, I didn't eat what was ordered, most certainly didn't need a to go box, and will never return. After reading standard and repeated responses from the manager to other customers, I ask he not even bother responding to mine. The health department/state inspectors should honestly shut this place down. Be sure to swing by urgent care for tetanus shot if you decide...
