I really want to love this place. I really do. I visited 2 times in the span of a week.

My first visit produced large chicken bones in both tamales I ordered (see pics) making each bite a cautious event. But overall, food was good.

My visit today started off with an online order via seamless. An order was placed at 11:43 am and given an estimated 12-1210 pickup. Upon arrival the lady at the front searched for my order, reviewed my receipt on my phone, then quietly walked away without a single word. A couple of minutes later a gentleman appeared and informed me they did not receive my order, then proceeded to turn on a tablet for web orders and returned to the kitchen. I did not receive my order until 1245....1 hour after placing my initial order!!!

I did make a request to cancel my order, but was informed I would have to contact grubhub to process request. I strongly recommend online orders be called in directly to ensure your order is being made and your time...

This El Salvadorian gem makes one hell of a taco! Frankly, it makes a lot of excellent, traditional Mexican food! Recently had the chicken soup, and my old my that was mighty fine. All homemade, with big carrots and potatoes.... Excellent!

My favorite tacos of theirs is their pork taco. They give the pork slight crunchy exterior that's really good. They do not put cheese on their tacos. Central Americans believe that cheese obscures the taste of the meat. I've realized that they're right! Also good is the carne asada. Frankly I like everything on their menu. They do serve beer, though it's a limited selection.

The decor isn't much to look at. The place is quite Spartan. And if you don't mind being one of the few that does not speak Spanish in the place, you're in for getting the one of the best meals you've had! The gentleman that owns the place also owns the butcher shop next door. That means he always has a fresh supply...

I gave this place a try a FEW times hoping my experience would be better after the last. They take a VERY long time. It got to the point I was placing my order 1.5 hrs in advanced and still waiting over half n hr for my food. The food is really good however the portions are inconsistent. The customer service is not great. When asking questions the responses were short, attitudinal or non existent as though you didn’t utter a word. I am fluent in Spanish and English so the rudeness is not a language barrier. I hope the owner/ staff understand that this is a small town and we love friendly people and good food.
