Stopped in here during a bike ride for a quick snack and was delighted by their pastry selection (I had a huge croissant) and an almond hot chocolate with cardamom which was amazing. Cardamom is a tough flavor to balance with chocolate and Second Nature Coffee got it exactly right. They also were able to get the almond milk really creamy and frothy which can also be hard. I came around mid day and it was busy, but the line moved quick. The service was quick, done with care, and the baristas were a delight. Even with the high volume because it seems to be a place where cyclists frequent, tables and chairs inside and out turned over frequently enough to easily grab a seat before getting back to my ride. Can't wait to stop here again on my next adventure!

This place is adorable! Our group of three stopped in to pass the time between a wedding ceremony and the reception at about 3:30pm. The small seating area only had one table open that we happily snatched up. My house made dirty chai with oat milk was delicious, and my friends really enjoyed their flavored lattes. We also all got baked goods which are locally made and yummy. They sell local goods like branded mugs, paper prints, and tea mixtures. There's a small parking lot behind the house/storefront and blankets hanging in front that you can use to cozy up in the cafe.

Stopped by on a weekday morning before work. Super charming! If you’re familiar with the former coffee spot here, know they have same roasters and amazing coffee still! I treated myself to a cookie and a latte. I loved the new handmade ceramics. And I also got a complimentary biscotti! Staff and the new owner were so nice. So many customers had questions with the new business. Some people were on laptops and others chatting. So it was really nice lowkey morning. Definitely will be back!

Welcome to the neighborhood, Second Nature Coffee Co! 10/10 would recommend. My husband and I love that they've continued serving Lone Oak Coffee, and kept the drink menu and offerings unchanged. We're simple and usually order cold brew coffee, black. As usual, it was perfect and the to-go cups are really nice! The outdoor seating updates and landscaping keep it a wonderful place to enjoy your drink while chatting with friends, old and new. The interior updates are nice too. I especially appreciate the more open lobby and sightlines behind the bar. The grab-and-go snacks are a nice kid-friendly touch too (nature made fig bars, pirate booty, fruit snacks). I look forward to seeing how they round out their updates. Our dog also appreciates the biscuits and water on the porch!

As they continue to settle in and round out updates we hope they will consider: adding 2-3 more seats on the patio replacing the remainder of the outdoor chairs with the updated ones (the cupholder and tray are SO nice!) adding a "pup parking spot". Many of the 'regulars' walk to this shop with our dogs. It would be a nice addition to have a place to tie them out safely out of the way...

I want so badly to give this place a higher score but it has been too inconsistent. The first time I had one of their cinnamon buns it was wonderful! well baked, gooey and almost croissant like flavor and texture honestly the best cinnamon I've had! So I was really excited when my wife who frequents the store brought me back another cinnamon bun, this time however it was dry and stale, the texture you'd have if you were selling day old maybe even two day old dried bread with withered crumb. The gratuitous icing does not hide the texture of old bread even if soaked in syrups I'm sure you know. I have worked as a baker in the food service industry for quite a number of years and that should be a very obvious no-no. Whoever sold it should not have.

Well I decided hey I wouldn't make a fuss about it, maybe it was a one time fluke. But today my wife brought home some cinnamon rolls for me and our daughters and after they had eaten some one of them said it was weird near the middle, I took a look and it was quite raw. That's really uncool, I hope for both our sakes that it does not make my daughters ill. Please be better...

Second Nature coffee is my absolute favorite place to get coffee in this area. The baristas and other staff are INCREDIBLY friendly and take time to learn people's names, what they're interested in, and how they specifically like their drinks.

I go so frequently that they don't ask for my order anymore, but it took very little time for me to regularly go for that to happen.

If you were familiar with King Street Coffee, let me just say: SECOND NATURE IS BETTER.

Pastries: Better

Coffee: The exact same (which was excellent, thanks Lone Oak!)

Staff: Some are the same (Awesome), but the new faces are awesome too!

Environment: The new owner has taken a lot of effort to improve the customer experience. Repaving the driveway, re-doing the retaining wall next to the parking lot, and adding in another outdoor seating "stage" area are huge pluses!

If you are disappointed in your experience with Second Nature, I will personally offer to cover the cost of your coffee and we'll go together the next time. Trust me, on the off chance you have a bad experience, you will not have...
