Slow service (>1hr), chef put on a good show, enjoyed that part. Food was decent except for this: The menu says "Ask about our Kobe beef". Recently back from Japan my guest and I was excited to have Kobe again. To my horror the chef whipped out 2 regular red (not pink-white) steaks with no marbling, visceral chewy fat, and globbed on a whole bunch of butter since it had no fat content like real kobe. He chopped off the fat and asked if I wanted it, I said yes so I could see how chewy it is - very chewy. I mentioned to the waiter that it didn't look like kobe or wagyu, she went to the back, came back and said "yes it's real kobe". Was with a group and guests were getting uncomfortable so I dropped it. Check out these 2 $65 Kobe steaks and judge for yourself. On the plate are the chunks of fat. Taste wise nothing like Kobe, tastes like a $20 american steak. TIL apparently Kobe is not a protected term in the US and you can call any old steak Kobe if you want. Next time (at a diff place) I'll ask if its real when ordering and request the certificate to come with the meal - every Kobe exported by Japan has a certificate with a serial number. If it weren't for the Kobe it would be 4 stars.

The Fire in Leesburg @ 1401 Citrus Blvd, Leesburg, FL 34748. They just opened about a week ago. OMGosh. Soooo good. Don't judge a book by its cover. lol The outside made me wonder if it would be any good. I'm sure as they grow the business, they'll work on aesthetics. When you first walk in your greeted by the host at the register with a big smile. As you look to the right you see a huge dragon on the wall. The place was so clean inside. BIG PLUS for me. The host sat us at a teppanyaki grill, one of about 6. We got our drinks, then we ordered. Wow it was soooo good. The steak & shrimp was awesome. Egg rolls and sushi, all awesome!! So much better than any Asian restaurant I've eaten at so far in Leesburg. Friendly staff. Awesome chef. I'll regret telling you I'm sure, but get down there and get ya some EXCELLENT Japanese cuisine. Just don't tell too many friends. I don't wanna have to wait when I go back. lol Check em out. You'll be glad you did.

The Fire is absolutely a must try and I recommend it to anyone who loves delicious sushi, high quality hibachi, joyful entertainment, exceptional atmosphere, and outstanding service! The ginger salad was probably the best and freshest ginger salad I’ve ever had. I had the Parker Roll and it was simply delicious, so fresh and flavorful. Finished off with the fried cheese cake, can’t say I’ve had fried cheese cake before but, I am completely hooked! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and extremely smooth on the inside, the whipped cream and chocolate sauce were the cherry on top. The server, Michael, was an absolute pleasure and beyond attentive, he was extremely friendly and always made sure we were taken cared of. It’s safe to say I will most definitely be eating here again and so will you if you come here, you will thank me later!

Update: i just wanted to update everybody. Literally within ten to fifteen minutes of me.posting the review about my experience, a owner named Parker reached out to me to communicate and rectify the situation. We were able to effectively communicate, and he was very accommodating and made sure that I was taken care of and rectified the situation. Definitely go out and check them out. The food was very good! And the owners really dp care about the customer's and their dining experience! Thank you for making this right Parker!

If I could give it 0 stars i would, not because of the food's taste, but because of the manager named Mel and her lack of customer service and her snobby attitude, like she can do no wrong! My co-worker and I spent $90 on 2 meals at lunchtime, and had it doordashed. Half of our food was missing from the order. When I called to ask for it to be fixed andaccommodate us and bring it to us because we work on a medical mobile nuclear tech unit and see patients non-stop. She first off blamed the dasher, not herself, even though she was the one that packed the bags. She would not accommodate us, she would not even call DoorDash to have them. Redeliver the food that she forgot to put in our bag. She was rude and then talked to me like I was stupid and like I was in the wrong! I drove thirty minutes out of my way to go pick up the rest of our order that was missing,. She continued to blame it on DoorDash when I showed up in oerson to pick it up. Like acted like the DoorDasher is supposed to open up our meal and our bags from their restaurant and check our food. No, you should have made sure it was all in there for the doordasher picking it up, it's your fault. Mel, your customer service skills need so much improvement!!!! I dont know how you are the manager! You looked hung over too! Then you had the audacity to tell me you can't stop your restaurant to accommodate us to bring us the food you forgot to check was not in our bags when I walked in your restaurant to pick up our stuff. There wasn't one person in your restaurant eating! When I managed a restaurant. I did everything to accommodate the customer... didn't matter I would call DoorDash back myself and would have someone come back and pick up the food for the customer cause it was our fault that the food was not in the bag like it was supposed to be! You didn't so much as even offer me a drink or anything you didn't refund anything! Don't expect good...

Spoke with a manager and they profusely apologized and guaranteed none of that would every happen again. We will gove them another chance to earn our business back. I appreciate that they were very apologetic and want to make it right.

Had an awful experience here. The food was good but the cool never said a word while he cooked and he took so long. We were there for over 2hrs. The waitress was the most rude waitress I have ever had. And I mean ever! She only came to the table to take orders and take payment. We had to stop other staff to get refills or to get any help. To start the dinner off, we sat at the table for at least 30mins with only a drink. Then when the waitress turned in the cooktop our entire table was complaining of a strong gas smell. When I approached her about it she was very rude and responded that she didn't smell anything. The rest of our table proceeded to complain as well. I ended up getting a headache from the smell and almost walked out l. (I wish I had now). Then she didn't bring bills to the tables she just told us what we owed and wanted us to pay right there. The first couple was told their told was $70 even, which raised a red flag for me because they had 2 hibachi meals and a side of steak and water. Not $70 worth. So when she told us our total was $115 for 3 meals and 2 sprites I knew there was an issue because I calculated the total before she said anything. (I also added in the 18% gratuity the automatically add to your bill). We demanded to see our bill and she stormed off without a word obviously mad. She definitely charged us a whole extra meal and when we said that she got mad again. On top of that, one of the people at our table commented about her bad attitude and she said "well I've had a long day and I'm hot". I'm sorry but that is not our fault and not an excuse to be rude when we were all very kind. I do not recommend and I'd make sure you get a bill before you pay. Overall it was the worst experience I have had at...

I came into this place a little skeptical. I had read some bad reviews but I had a positive outlook on this place. We went in and we're seated immediately, looking around the atmosphere was amazing, you can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. Our server was this wonderful lady who got our drinks very quickly and got our food order fast, she mistook an Arnold for a Shirley Temple but she righted it immediately. Our chef was a very traditional character, you can tell he had been working a long time. He looked at his clipboard and said the wrong order, apparently our server put in an order from this morning, but they fixed the mistake. Our chef was not the talkative type and seemed very demoralized, he listed the things he was doing in a monotone voice. In the process of righting the order they forgot my noodles that came with the dinner portion but brought those out at the end, the food was decent, it was very lightly flavored so we had to ask for some sauce. The portions were very odd, we got tons of rice and 3 shrimp. During our meal we were seated by a very rowdy couple who loudly criticized the food and made the experience a bit worse. At the end of our experience our server apparently clocked out in the middle of the hibachi and we didn't get the check for 30 minutes. Unlike most reviews I actually appreciate the 18% gratuity because it gets rid of the hassle of tipping. Some closing remarks, in about a year if it's still open hopefully they can get on their feet and improve some of their flaws, it's a good place if you don't mind some cracks, amazing prices and...
