We had the worst BWW experience of our entire lives on Friday, February 17, 2023. First, we were asked to show our IDs right when we walked in. Weird but we abided because Utah law pertaining to alcohol can be weird. So, we were given a wristband for alcohol purchases. As we were seated, I counted 4 tables that were completely trashed from people leaving. Half eaten wings, napkins, plates, cups, etc....kinda ruins your appetite seeing so many half eaten wings. There were so many open tables too, hardly anybody there, and the hostess sat us right in between 2 of the 4 dirty tables. Nobody could use the excuse of being too busy because there was literally at most 15-20 people in the entire restaurant. We waited for the waitress to come to our table for about 10 minutes, and when she finally came, she had an attitude like she was annoyed that she had another customer. We had to show our IDs AGAIN when we ordered alcohol. Like c’mon, once up front is a little too much, but then again at the table….overkill. The drinks too forever. We had ordered food at the same time we ordered drinks and ordered: Ultimate Nachos, 20 traditional wings, and a large French fry. Within 2 minutes of placing the order, the French fries were brought out. We didn’t even have drinks yet. My husband and I just looked at each other because fries are not an appetizer. We knew good and well they were just left over from some other table. Low and behold, they were hard and not hot at all. And we didn’t even have drinks yet, not even water, to choke them down. The alcoholic drinks took forever. We ordered beer. It should be nearly instant. Next came the Ultimate Nachos…..the saddest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. There was like 1 piece of chicken on the entire set of nachos. We’ve eaten at multiple BWW locations all over the US, and usually the Ultimate Nachos are loaded up with toppings. These were the saddest nachos I’ve ever seen. We barely even touched them. And the order ticket was placed right on top of the nachos! C’mon! Somewhere in between the nachos and the wings, a guy started cleaning off the tables around us. Make that 3 tables surrounding us at this point since another party had left. The wings came a little while later, and they were the only saving grace. They were good. The waitress asked if we wanted another drink. We said yes. When she brought me another beer, I had about 2 drinks left in the first one. She just stared at me holding the 2nd beer, for like 10 seconds, before I said, “Is there a problem?” She just assumed I knew I couldn’t have 2 beers at once. I’m not from Utah. I don’t know Utah law. Don’t assume your customer knows. Be up front and tell what you’re doing. I had to chug the rest of the 1st one for her to give me the 2nd one. Just so incredibly unprofessional. Tell me that before I order a second one. When it came time to cash out, she was nowhere to be found. Finally, she brought the ticket and pretty much bolted. She was completely unfriendly. I left her a tip that matched her service: POOR. Customer service has gone completely downhill everywhere, but this is by far a low point. Really really unpleased, especially considering my husband and I came up to the city for a Valentine’s weekend, and nothing about this eating occasion was special. Will never ever return to this...
Read moreLet’s just face facts here I am part of the problem. Let me explain, I decided to give BWW another chance knowing full well I shouldn’t have. Let’s not focus on the past let’s just talk about today. The setting is dinner 01 Aug 2024, a date I love because it’s my birthday. First, they try to seat us in a booth that was way too small. Second, we wait for 15 minutes at the table before the wait staff comes to the table. Why you ask, well because management must have felt having one bar tender and 2 servers was sufficient for a BOGO nigh. Well, we finally order drinks, appetizers, and main course. Sweet I think to my self the worst is over, oh how wrong I was! We wait a reasonable amount of time and lo and behold here pops the main course for my wife and I….. why? I ask myself we haven’t even received our drinks, silverware, or napkins… This is a hot wing place you would think they understand the necessity of these items, apparently not. Next the appetizers show up (still no drinks). Much to my surprise our waiter realizes the situation we have been placed in and he brings 4 of the 6 drinks. Well, where are the other 2 you ask. Well those 2 need to come from the bar…. Remember, management decided one bar tender was sufficient for a BOGO night. Well let’s just say we waited some more, and now the kids food showed up where I can ask about my drink I ordered 20 minutes ago. Our waiter said he would go see but reminded me that they were a little behind. It took everything in me to playfully ask why is that because management can’t pull their heads out and understand what happens on BOGO nights?… ok, success we got drinks and I’m thinking let’s just eat and roll so we can put this all behind us. NO, I am not that lucky… my wife finds a long and I am talking long blond hair attached to her wing that runs into her ranch dressing. To clear this disgustingness from her mind she takes a drink and lo and behold the beer is flat and I am talking flat like the salt flats. All I can think is FML, why would I ever think this place would turn around. Upon further investigation there is not one but 2 long blond hairs in her food, and you know for a fact it’s over at that point. Hoping to address the issue with our 1 of 2 wait staff in a semi busy restaurant we realized that would not happen. Trying to let my annoyance wains down I went to the restroom only to find now hand towels any wear and the smell of old urine aggravating me even more. Let’s just wrap this up so you can decide never to eat here like we have. Management had to come out to assist to remove hair food and crap beer from the bill and as we walked out I whispered to the guests waiting to be seated “don’t do it, it’s not worth the agony”. I guess I need to mention I drove the wife through Taco Amigo for some quality PG food to help her actually get a meal for the night. Never going back and I mean NEVER!!! May the odds be ever in your favor, they...
Read moreI had the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life here on Friday night. It was almost comical how bad it was—everything that could go wrong went wrong. We waited half an hour to be seated, which is understandable because it was Friday night, but then, we waited 15 minutes to even get our order put in and 30 minutes before even getting water! I finally went up to the front and told them that we had been seated for 30 minutes without even getting water and they said basically “oh whoops, which table are you?” And brought it out after that. One guy in my group ordered Sierra Mist and when he got it, it was almost completely flavorless. So he asked for a Pepsi instead and was given a flat Pepsi—we all tried it and laughed about it because it was disgusting. To this, the waitress said, “oh yeah, our machine must be going out.” Then, we waited another 30 minutes for our food (so in total, 1 hour sitting down before any of our food got to us—appetizers and all). The waitress brought out milk for one girl in our group and when she got to the table, she looked at it and said, “okay I know it’s only ¾ of the way full but...oh nevermind, the glass is dirty as well.” So she took it back and brought out another milk still only 3/4 full. Then, the same guy who had the problems with the drinks didn’t even get the right order, they didn’t have enough sauces for each of us so they brought it out in one cup to all share, and they didn’t have one of the sauces we all wanted. When we asked about order substitutions, the waitress had to take a good look at the menu and still wasn’t sure about it since she said it was new and they were under new management. Towards the end, I told her that this was the biggest struggle I had ever seen in a restaurant and she said, “oh trust me, last night was much worse. This new management is changing a lot of stuff and we’re not adjusted yet.” Overall, the entire experience took over 2 hours and it was just awful. It was my first time at Buffalo Wild Wings, and I will never be going back ever in my life. We were there for my friend’s birthday dinner and all had to apologize that she had such a horrible experience for her birthday. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else in Utah county. I would have picked...
