OVERVIEW - 4.67 Came here on a Tuesday afternoon because my wife's lunch plans had fell through (she had to work). So I ate at a table for six all by myself... LOCATION - 5 They actually have a pretty good location being located right at the major artery of Thanksgiving Point. PRICE - NA I came here on a free promotional offer from a third party, so I didn't spend a penny, so it would be unfair to give this a score, although what I ordered would have came out around $9 I believe. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 4 I ordered a Mini shredded Pork, I'd be lying if I didn't say, it was inspired by the movie Moana. (Yes, I am aware she's not Hawaiian!, it was my mindset during my lunch break from a chaotic day of work). POINTERS/PERKS - NA I'm sure there are some pointers or perks, but being as this was the second time I've been here, I don't know what those would be... EMPLOYEES - 5 The young lady that served me was rather friendly, she did have a helium pitched voice, but all the same she was very helpful in helping me select the choices for my meal. I struggled a little as well with my free voucher, which she helped me out with.

I am forever a fan of Mo Bettahs food and won't ever stop coming. Love their teriyaki chicken, rice, and mac salad. But when curbside pickup is the only option, the person on the phone needs to be able to listen and spell your name. My name is Janae Balibrea. But after spelling it out letter by letter to the young man on the phone yesterday, he put it on the receipt as "Kane Eliborey." Mind you, having my name spelled wrong doesn't bother me. I'm used to it. But this wasn't even in the same ballpark. Not even the same gender. And I'm only mentioning it here because when I arrived (literally three minutes after I called), they couldn't find an order with my name on it. I had to re-spell my name for them. I had to show them that I called the correct location. I had to restate my order so they could try to match it up to one. Lo and behold: my order was under "Kane Eliborey." No wonder they couldn't find it. It's probably wise to pick the best person to run the phone orders so that quality of service matches the quality of food.

If you know me, you know I gotta give some love to Utah-founded restaurants, and Mo' Bettahs is a Utah original. Founded by two Hawaiian brothers, Mo' Bettahs offers Hawaiian-style food such as teriyaki chicken and kālua pork. I had the katsu chicken and teriyaki chicken. The katsu is the best I've had from a Hawaiian-style restaurant. It pairs well with the katsu or teriyaki sauce. The teriyaki chicken was also good. I've had the steak before, but it's not worth the extra charge. The rice needs to be drenched in teriyaki sauce, but the mac salad is solid. I love that they have red creme soda. I like the layout and atmosphere of this location better than the Sandy or Provo locations. There's plenty of tables and the service is quick. Overall, it's a good Hawaiian restaurant, and I'll eat here again.

11 months since my last visit and review with a reply from the owner saying musubi coming soon... Still no musubi. I had a Mini mix plate with Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu. The beef although cooked nicely at medium rare was cold. The chicken katsu was good and their version of tonkatsu sauce is a little spicy, but I don't mind that. The macaroni salad leaves a lot to be desired. With far too much mayo and basically no salt or pepper. it was also rather disappointing to get a soda with no carbonation and when it was mentioned that the CO2 was low the gentleman behind the counter said oh yeah somebody already mentioned that. Which then took at least another five minutes for it to be changed. This poor place really needs to step up their game. #lfthx
