Regular visitor here. 5 stars reflective of its category - a small Mexican dining venue. The attraction starts with the incredibly congenial staff. They seem to be sincerely glad to see you. I feel like family. But I nearly always choose one of their Specials, "Big Plate," a Tostada, taco, and two roled tacos. Good stuff. But I also enjoy virtually any of their many choices of combination plates, partly to ensure I can grab sides of beans and rice; especially the rice. My personal favorite is the burrito and taco combo. Mexican food usually relies on the "secret" condiments and spices that create appeal to the customer in the hopes they will return. Read moreFamily operated business, the employees are super nice and the food is excellent! I have been eating here for a very long time. My go to is the rolled tacos, rice and beans plate but the carne asada chips, fries, and chilaquiles are all bomb. The salsa is also excellent which, for me, can be a deal breaker when it comes to a taco shop. If the salsa doesn't have good flavor or tastes old I won't keep going to that spot. Read moreI went here to get a burrito and I was completely disappointed. The wrapping of the burrito was done half ass and the tortilla was under cooked. The insides of the burrito was all slimy and mashed together. I couldn't even see my french fries. I went here once before, when I was younger and didn't remember how it tasted like. Perhaps it was better then. But now, it's nasty--at least what I ordered was. Plus the empty restaurant was a big give away. Never coming again.
