I've come to this Waffle House for yeeeaarrrssss, and by far today and last Thursday was the worst experience I've ever had with any Waffle House I've ever been to. Thursday my gravy bowl still had soap residue you could see, and taste, one bite & the whole bowl was wasted. Today, we sat there for 25 minutes before we even get acknowledged, new customers walk in, get seated & serviced immediately, the workers would make eye contact & walk right on past us, didn't even take our drink order. Kept apologizing but wouldn't take our order but continued to service people as they're walking in, mind you, while we already waited the initial 25 minutes before we even got one apology to begin with. Terribly rude service. Ended up having to just walk out after yet another I'm sorry, but nothing done. & They were far from short staffed so I'm not understanding what the problem was. One of the workers had time to stop & chat with another worker & then proceed to make her own food while there were over 10 customers still waiting on THEIR food. As a previous fast food Manager, I'm disappointed & it's...
Read moreWhat an awful experience. Sent my husband for a to go order. Did not want to cook tonight. The gentleman informed him there would be a 20% upcharge $5.15 would go to him. $5.15 would go to the store, then informed my husband. That if he needed more than 6 pieces of silverware, he could not give it to him that was the rules. Thank goodness We only had 5 in the family and did not need any silverware. I guess if you are a family of more than six, you will have to share your silverware i have heard of gratuities being added on four 8 or more in a restaurant which is understandable, but never on a to go order that you walked in and placed yourself. My husband was going to leave a $5 tip. Anyway, but after the gentleman informed him that his tip was already guaranteed. This should be illegal if it's not already a gratuity., is something that is given for the service that you received. And still not understanding the other going back to the store.$5.15 Is this the practice of all waffle houses? I really want to know? I would call this...
