I decided to try this place after seeing so many reviews that were positive so we ended up stopping today at around 10am. I got my husband a steak torta with fries he actually liked his except for the fries they looked were probably reheated from previous night because they were so hard and way too over done. I got myself tacos which were al pastor and Barbacoa. I liked how it look it had plenty of meet and nice size I just did not like that the meat had no seasonings it literally needed salt I could not taste the meat at all and what was worse was the the red and green sauces they gave were not even spicy. I thought well maybe if I can't taste and flavor from the meat at least I can make it spicy but even that disappointment me. I usually don't give places a second chance but seeing that my husband liked it could be because he was just really hungry after work I don't know but I will come back one more time to see if it's still the same or maybe different next time it could of been the crew that opened just didn't to a great job this time not sure. I'll definitely give an update when I come back to see if things have changed but for me in used to earing tacos from palaces like El Paisa, Paisanos tacos so they usually do a great job but will see how Ale taco does next time I come back

Ale Taco is by far the best and most authentic taco shop I've found in Texas and by far my favorite spot for tacos. Serving breakfast tacos all day to loaded tots, fries, nachos, burrito bowls, to churros, flan, tres leches and more. It's the first place I take any out of town guests. So far every one of them want Ale at least for one meal every day they're here. I could eat every meal here for a month and get something different every time. It's definitely a staple for me, bonus is it's not even a mile away. My favorites are: Breakfast: Chorizo breakfast tacos with cheese & sour cream. The chorizo is so flavorful! Lunch/Dinner: Pastor tacos on flour tortillas. The pork is perfectly seasoned, juicy and has that amazing caramelization with a tiny delish char here and there. OMG 🥰 Dessert/Sweets: either a Caramel Churro or Tres Leches cake. I've never liked tres leches any time in my life, ever. Ale's tres leches is beyond delish! I like a corner piece for more almonds. Go once and you'll be a regular for life!

First time at Ale Taco. It’s one of those places that looks like it’s a hole in the wall, but is actually pretty spacious when you walk in. They have a varietal menu including the common favorites. I had the steak tacos with corn tortillas and I added two sides- Mexican rice and chips and salsa. The steak tacos were phenomenal. Well seasoned and very flavorful. The meat went very well with the corn tortillas. They actually add an extra corn tortilla to every taco to make sure that it can hold the amount of meat they put in. I was not a fan of the Mexican rice or the salsa. The rice was a little bland and the salsa was too watery. But the chips were good. Well designed restaurant with an artistic mural on the wall to admire. They also have a variety of desserts to purchase after your meal. In the back wall, they have a variety of drinks that you can combine to make a six pack and purchase it just like that. I look forward to my next visit to Ale Taco.

First of all I like to thank God for blessing me to live to see another day I'm blessed mean to be able to reply to the places that I visit time to time thank you. You know I have really travel as some eating places and this make the third place that I was so disappointed in my life. But I'm really tried to explain this restaurant. One of my closest friend referred me to this restaurant so I gave him a try for the first time me and my husband but like I said I was very disappointed. When I order the food to go we got to the house and we start eating thinking the food was going to be great but it was not. The place that I usually go to they are so great with a service and also the food that they serve they stay open 24 hours a day but I went by there close the place down for what reason I can't say because I don't know but. But I know this and I'm not trying to be funny I'm just keeping it real everybody cannot cook but I am so sorry to say this but I'm just want to put it out I am so good in the kitchen because I was raised by my grandmother that put her foot in it if you know what I mean. And when I do cook I always have compliment also someone wants me to cook that dinner for them I should have had my own restaurant but that's another story also. Please understand this and don't take it to the heart when people go to restaurants and they also been waiting all day for their lunches or dinner and when they go home or eat it elsewhere they be really a decent meal like my husband wanted at that time but like I was saying everybody can cook. Have a blessed afternoon and also have a blessed...

These were probably the most authentic tacos I have had since moving from Southern California several months ago.

The barbacoa is tender and tasty, the al pastor meat is more the consistency of carnitas (which I love) but are yummy, the chicken and steak a pretty good. Their red salsa is good and spicy and the green is tasty. You have to like creamy style salsa/sauces, I think they mix it with sour cream. They aren't quite traditional, which I understand considering how popular Tex-Mex is here. But they have some heat and flavor, which I have DEFINITELY been missing in my tacos since moving.

The beer is kind of like a supermarket "pick your own single", which is cool, because I like a large selection. And they have some cool local brews, which is nice, since we are trying to sample as many as we can.

All in all, its actually really good food, even if it isn't exactly the traditional tacos that I love. I know I am a hard sell---being from Southern California, and I have a Mexican brother in law (for 29 years) who cooks amazing traditional food, so...I try REALLY hard not to compare too much.

The service was good, and fast. Friendly people there. :)

I go for taste--and this tastes good. I will be...
