I’ve lived for 3 years at Hebron 121 Station in building 890. For the duration of my stay I endured a general lack of customer service, from maintenance requests that were not done in a reasonable amount of time, to office staff with bad attitudes and lack of going even an extra inch. The lack of communication and general process in the office is appalling. Also, the amount of dog feces left around the apartments in the grass areas is also appalling. These apartments are beautiful and if you live here and nothing major goes too wrong you’re great, which was me for about 2.5 years. Oct 2018 I started to notice roaches in my apartment. So I called the office and asked if they had anything going on in the building and that I was seeing roaches and how it was unusual. The response was no we haven’t heard of anything would you like us to spray. So she set me up to spray and I sprayed every couple weeks for like a month and a half. Then I went back to getting sprayed monthly. Towards the end of February beginning of March I started to see roaches again in a worse way. I was seeing baby roaches and woke up one morning to a large roach on the wall beside my bed. I went in the office first thing and let them know how unacceptable this situation was to me! Again they hadn’t heard of any problems in the building blah blah, they can spray. I was up late one night which I’m generally not up at 3am in the morning. I come into the living room and see something crawling across my coffee table I switch on the light and it’s a large roach. In a panic I scrambled, killed it and at 3 am moved all my furniture and found another dead roach under my couch. Whatever the apartments are doing isn’t working so I go and personally buy borax and line my walls and put some in my couch all while thinking that these things could be getting into my furniture! I call them again and they set me up to get fogged because obviously spraying isn’t working. The pest control worker also walked my apartment to check on the situation after my several complaints, he said he didn’t find any “Live activity”. At this point I’m sleeping with all the lights on and driving up my light bill up from the anxiety. One person in the office told me how they just finished fogging an entire different building at the end of last year because they didn’t know where the roaches were coming from. (YIKES major red flag) So, now I’ve been fogged and I’m expecting to see some dead roaches. No,The next day I see a large roach by my empty trash can. I hadn’t been keeping any trash inside my house, cooking or eating at home for weeks because of the problem. Later that day I saw a roach scurry from the bathroom onto the door jam and then my bedroom wall and it was moving fast not slow. I had to dart for the nearest thing I could to kill it with which was the ironing board. At this point I was done, I couldn’t sleep well and I wanted out of my lease. my lease was up in June so I only had a few months left but living that way was not something I wanted to do. I showed Neely the pictures of roaches I had taken after the fogging. I put in my notice and under the circumstance expected them to accommodate at least for May and the four days of June that would be left. NO, because they had pest control walk the apartment again and found “no live activity” they didn’t want to accommodate in the least. Now I had called corporate at least twice now to speak with Diane I believe her name was and left a detailed message of my situation and for her to call back, she never called back until after she denied my request to be let out of my lease and my request to transfer apartments. I let them know I would be writing a review and posting the pictures of the roaches I had taken, then she decides to call me and I’m thinking like what’s the point now. Well she proposed switching my apartment now but only if I signed another 12 months lease. Absolutely not. She never apologized for anything. Who has the money to pay double rent? To force someone to stay in a situation like this is utterly...
Read moreThis was the best place I could find. I’m in love with the pool and the majority of my town house. Moving day was a bit annoying. I was moving from out of town and was under the impression that I move in was 9Am. Then was told I had to move in after 4. Which was upsetting because my father was coming to help us move, I could have told him a latter time. I also had the internet people coming between 1-5 pm. We were able to reschedule the internet for a later time. So it was all good. My husband and I walked around the place for a few mins. Once my dad came we went to get something to eat at a local restaurant. By the time we go in our car around 1, we got a phone call saying the apartment was ready. So we were able to site see from 9:30 Am- 1:00. But when we first revived that phone call, we were supper upset, until calming down and realizing that we wanted to site see eventually, might as well do it now. So when we finally got to our house, their was a gift with our keys on the counter. We even had a trash can. The dish washer was still on as the cleaning company had just left, along with the floors and carpet being. wet. My dad found a roach in our house, which he kicked out. I was upset about that as I am allergic to roaches. However, like I said before, this was still the best place I could find, not only in Lewisville but from a few surrounding cities as well. Our shower head in our master bathroom is dirty and rusty. I hope they replace it. I had A few issues but nothing to want to stop anyone else from living here. When we first found this place, I told the leasing agent about my mother being handicap and needing a two bedroom downstairs. Not only did she find us a place downstairs, she found us a town house with an attached garage all downstairs. She also urged us to take the more affordable townhouse, because the normal rate for that floor plan was a bit more costly. So I was super excited about that. This is my first house as an adult. I’m from Louisiana. Our apartments always came with a washer and dryer and water bill was included with the rent. However, I suppose Texas is different, as there are lots of fees not included in the cost of the rent such as trash, and pest and other fees. Water is based on usage here. And in phase 5, you only have one choice of an internet provider. Which so far isn’t good. Our internet stopped working the very next day from us moving in and having it cut on. Now we have to wait until Monday for someone to come fix it. That means no internet for the entire weekend. Plus I am having guest coming over this weekend And I would have liked to show off my 5 G internet. But whatever. It’s just very inconvenient since my husband is still in college and attends online. He can only do so much on his phone. We met one of our neighbors and she seems really nice. Most people here seem helpful. There’s a private Facebook group which has been super helpful! Even doe the price of living is way kore expensive than what I am used to, with the amount of money we make here vs back home, it more than evens out! And it’s a nicer lifestyle. I just love the entrance with the Hebron sign and water fountains inside of the pound and the bridge crossovers. Being surrounded by water, allows for perfect views and romantic scenery. Which is every important to me as I am a newly wed. At night this place is even more beautiful with the signs on the building and entrance sign, glowing in my favorite color, blue. This place is dope. It was 4 pools, a two story gym a hot tub, a convenient store, a restaurant and so much more. I could go on and on about this place, but the battery on my phone is about to go dead so I’ll end soon. The good most definitely out way the bad, I’m glad I didn’t allow to all of the bad reviews to hinder my decision of choosing to live here! There will always be good and bad with everything. We are choosing to focus...
Read moreI pay $1640.00 a month for the Jamaican Floor plan. Its unfortunate that this place has poor customer service.(Resident Services). This place is riddled with dog poop, trash from contractors left throughout the complex. Maintnence workers take trash out of the metal trash cans near the mailbox and just leave it sitting on the ground for days at a time. Saying that, I've never once complained to resident services or the leasing office about these common issues. And, I never would of until now. Reason being, they (Keaton and Phillip) tell me they won't accept my rent until I pay $25.00 trash violation. They refused my payment for rent and said they would evict me if I don't pay the $25.00 fine which is absolutely absurd. I've taken so many pictures of their own workers leaving trash around for days and then they have the nerve to cherry pick and fine tenants $25.00 a day if you have any bag laying on the ground that is not in the small trash can they provide for $25.00 a month for trash pick up. Countless tenants leave multiple bags of trash sitting outside their door on a daily basis. Resident services says they fine everyone anytime anyone leaves trash on the ground which is false because I've talked with neighbors upstairs and downstairs and they say that they have not received notices. They hear of people getting a fine from time to time but its not something thats practiced on a consistent basis. This is why this is a common problem. Keaton said they sent me a warning which I never received and they have a picture of the 2nd time from me.. Now, they are charging me a 25.00 fine. I politely asked them if they could provide proof that the trash actually belonged to my unit they said its in a report. Their proof was a close up of 2 bags of trash laying on the ground with no apartment number. He also mentioned, that they fine the same people all the time and they will pay 25.00 a day with no remorse. Nobody in their right mind is going to keep paying 25.00 a day like its no big deal. If they truly enforced this rule this wouldn't be an issue. The grills in the pool area and clubhouse don't work properly. Its no secret that Phillip and Keaton that work in resident services are not on the same page and have very poor decision making. I've contacted my attorney and I will be sending pictures and videos to Huffines Mgmt(Corporate) on a weekly basis showing proof of the trash throughout the complex from their very own staff, contractors and trash left throughout the hallways. Maybe then, they will understand that their own rules are only being enforced when Keaton and Phillip feel like doing so. I'm all for rules and regs. I just think its very unfair and irresponsible of resident services if you don't practice what you preach on a consistent basis with your own staff and contractors that work for the property. Forgive this long review but I'm sick and tired of getting taken advantage of. I have no issues with the individuals in the leasing office. But, resident services is a huge downside. This probably explains why this property has a 3.3 ratings for 60 something reviews. Like the old saying "Documentation beats conversation every time." Hopefully, someone at Huffines really takes notice of this and looks into why so many individuals have given poor reviews. 3.3 isn't exactly knocking out of the park. Its ashame it had to come to this. Now, I have 6 more friends that live at this property that decided they are also going to leave reviews sometime this...
