Baja Cantina — Restaurant in Lewisville

The reviews for this place really misled me to have high hopes. We were sat right away on a Saturday night so that felt promising but that was about the only good thing. Service was slow, we got the wrong drinks and the food we ordered wasn’t correct. Server didn’t come to check on us until it was time to check out so didn’t get a chance to correct anything. I ordered the surf & turf tacos which tasted great but greasy and quickly fell apart. The Baja tacos could have been better since we asked for beer battered but instead received grilled fish. Drinks were okay, watered down and way overpriced for the quality. I’m okay with paying $15-20 for a craft cocktail when I go somewhere nice but $15 for a watery margarita served in a plastic cup seems a bit much. I’m so excited that Baja Cantina is back! They have my all-time favorite salsa, and it’s just as amazing as I remembered. We went during their soft opening, and everything was fantastic, both the food and the service were spot on. We even had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the passion they put into this place.

Tried this Mexican restaurant this week and honestly I should gate keep it 😂 the corn and the fajitas were SO delicious, honestly best Mexican food by miles! The steak fajitas were tender and flavorful. Salsa was the right perfect of spicy! They also have an indoor outdoor area where you can bring your pups which is a plus. Also the staff was the best, so easy to talk to and attentive!
