I placed a order over the weekend, a baked potato. After getting home I noticed the potatoe had no chicken only cheese. I called and spoke to the weekend manager told her my complaint she pulled up the receipt. I told her I live far and would bring the food back. I brought the food back, receipt and spoke to the manager Carissa on Monday.She tells me she cant issue a redund that would have to go through corporate. She was unprofessional about things no apologies. She didnt want to take my information down to give to corporate, I told her I have a pen and asked what did she need to submit to corporate. After giving her my info I spike to the Managing partner Bill. His tone was not better and he had a attitude. This was odd behavior coming from two people in management. Hi thought it was amusing and funny by the laughing he displayed. I expressed to him I have brought the food back and I want a refund. He it would be issued from corporate.I'm still waiting on a refund for their mistake. As of today I spoke with corporate explained my concern of how I was treated and my food complaint. I was told the manager bill at this location has to issue my refund. They both should not be in any manager roles treating customers in this manner. I'm still waiting for a refund on a order they did incorrect, they have the food but Bill refuses to do his job as a partner in the company. He should have the ability to not take things personally when someone comes to him with a complaint, this is business. I will never fo back here. Dont eat here they will not take accountability if they mess up on your order! Also to add when I places my order with cashier Miriam I was very specific with my order and she confirmed the order before I paid. so the question is the order was done intentionally wrong in my view. My girlfriend ordered the salad bar and I got a baked potato with grilled chicken. After ordering, we went down to the station were you have your ticket so they can give her a bowl for her salad and we just stood there as three employees ignored us and wiped down trays while chatting. They looked straight at us several times, and then would just look away. Eventually after a minute of this I held the ticket up and asked if we could get her tray. Two of them walked away, while the third sighed and dramatically threw his rag down to take the receipt.
He grunted and put a bowl in a tray, then walked off. Bad day I guess.
I went and got drinks (after grabbing cups myself since he didn't provide them) and then sat down.
Shortly after, my potato was delivered. This is why I decided to write this review.
The chicken in the potato was grey. It looked like it had been boiled a week ago, then just warmed up every day until someone ordered it. I tried a bite and the texture was almost like stringy taffy. It was chewy and stringy at the same time. The taste was so bad it turned my stomach
I tried eating around the chicken, but I had a large potato with a spoonful of cheese and sour cream on top. Ultimately, cooked potato without things on top isn't the best flavor. Not to mention I can buy a potato at the store for under $1, and this cost me around $10.
The chicken is the huge problem here, but the lack of thought out into preparing the rest of the plate, and the attitude of the folks behind the counter was icing on the cake.
They say customer service has suffered since COVID. But there are plenty of places out there that have friendly folks, that there is just no reason to deal with people having a perpetual bad day while serving up food that wouldn't even make it in our...
Read moreUPDATE: Spoke to Brian, the store manager about the treatment and he agreed with my conclusion that it was unacceptable for the store personnel not to correct their mistake and replace my order. He offered to dispatch a driver with a gift card, which was nice of him to do and the right thing. I told him not to send a driver just for a gift card and that he can mail it to me. He did and I received it. I will upgrade my rating one star for how the manager dealt very well with this situation.
I can see why this place gets one star ratings. They don't train their people well, and it makes a horrible experience for their customers. I went in tonight at 8:30p to get a nutty mixed up salad for my wife. It comes with balsamic vinegarette dressing but tonight, they decided to leave it out. So I called them when I found out at home that they did not have the dressing on the salad. I spoke to one of their employees who promptly told me that the salad does not come with dressing. ????? So I asked for a manager and spoke to a guy named Roman. I explained that I wanted a replacement salad but I cannot come on the same night cause it was already 9pm. I would get it another day. At this point you would think that any restaurant with any sort of customer service would say ok, we messed up so we will replace the salad. Well, not this place.
