I had high expectations for a night out at Arcadium Bar, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The atmosphere seemed promising at first, but the service really fell flat.
What truly ruined our evening was the treatment we received from the bartender, Joe. My date and I, both people of color, felt discriminated against during our time there. Joe was noticeably dismissive and unfriendly, and it was hard to shake the feeling that our presence was not welcomed. We watched as other patrons received attentive service, while we were left waiting far longer than necessary. Eventually he asked us to leave because according to Joe "it's his right" to deny service to us without any logical reason.
It’s disheartening to see such behavior in a place that should be about inclusivity and good vibes. I won’t be returning to Arcadium Bar, and I hope they take a serious look at how their staff treats all customers. No one should have to experience discrimination while simply trying to enjoy...
Read moreHonestly it was an okay bar. Had very little space (1 floor only), small but decent beer selection, though probably the only arcade bar I've been to that charges per game on top of slightly higher than average prices. Plus not all the arcades were working at the time. Staff could be friendlier, they pretty much think you're a beggar unless you have cash in hand. I will not be coming back to this place, they tried hard, but missed in the long run. Could afford better hospitality after reading their "list" of beers for about 10 seconds I was welcomed with "you going to order a beer or not?" While there were a total of 6 people in the building, all busy talking to one another or drinking beer on a Thursday. Only reason I will not return is because they lack the hospitality...
Read moreArcade bars are making a come back, but this was the first I visited where the games weren't free. Service wasn't the best. Beer selection was great but expensive. Don't come here unless you're playing the games or are okay with sitting at the bar because there's not a lot of seating. Only one real table and 2 window sills besides the bar because it's small. It's more of a 3.5 than a 3, but if someone asked me, I'd just say it's okay. Good selection of games, even if you have to pay for them. No one was playing any games at the time I was there, although the bar was pretty full. Alright music. Nice decor, brick and wood...
