Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Lexington

Store manager at Lexington, MA, Ike, is not friendly at all. Apparently, he is not an animal lover and treat customer badly. It happened on 7/21/2021 around 3ish pm, We asked an employee there if we can bring in the dog, he said “yes”, so we brought in the dog. There was another dog inside kept barking at my dog when we walked in and my dog did not bark back. When I was sitting in the chair with the dog, the store manager over the counter, Ike, asked me to leave. At the same time, my friend was ordering the coffee by the counter. Pete's Coffee is the anti-Starbuck's. No pretension no politics just great coffee and even better tea made by their own speciality tea company. I am a tea drinker and their black tea are fantastic. Today I had the Earl Grey. When I say they take their tea and coffee seriously let me give you an example. They brew green tea and black tea at different temperature with the black tea at a higher temperature. They also do individual French press coffee. The pastries are very popular. Prices are competitive with the other big coffee chains and independent coffee cafe. This review is for my first visit to Peet's in Lexington with my daughter today. We received a friendly welcome when we entered the store. My daughter and I ordered together. My daughter received her drink promptly and the barrista called out her drink order. For some reason, the barrista skipped my order, a pineapple citrus green tea, and served the person after me a free ice water. When she finally finished my order, she put it down without a word.
