Little Griddle @ Dough — Restaurant in San Francisco

The iced coffee is fine; not that bitter, which is a plus! A lot of nice looking donuts, although I've only had their plain old fashioned --- and both times, it tasted exactly like what you think it would! Not overly sweet.

A little messy, but I would like to come back for a breakfast platter or a sandwich during lunch.

This place is very consistent for some items. I have gotten the Go Getter plate with bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs and 2/3 of those items are very solid.

The hashbrowns are very hit or miss in terms of how crispy, oily/soggy, or seasoned they are. The tater tots — which I've gotten whenever they can't do hashbrowns — have always been really crispy.

The caesar salad with grilled chicken added is also very passable. I have never had an issue with it, and I have it whenever I don't pick up a breakfast plate from Little Griddle.

I really wanted a heavy breakfast and figured I should give Little Griddle a chance after walking past it for so many years.

I ordered the Energizer sammie to go, which has turkey, spinach, crimini mushrooms, eggs and cheese, along with hash browns.

The meal was round $15, but the portion was huge! So large in fact, that I could only eat half and saved the other for lunch. The sammie was grilled perfectly, and the hash browns could cure a hangover (which I didn't have..).

Little Griddle is truly a diner: small with cafeteria-style tables. They are there to make good food and that's exactly what you can expect. I hope to get something for lunch (which I'm sure I'll save half for...

I stumbled on this tasty little place on accident. I meet a freind at the outside tables every week. He always has a great coffee waiting for me when I get there. I actually look forward to that cup of coffee. The other day I realized they had great comfort food as well. Breakfast,doughnuts,sandwhiches,pizza. The hobos hash was suggested ,hashbrowns with ground beef,eggs any style on top and cheese and a piece of toast. My boyfriend loved it !!! Now I look forward to the coffee and he loves the hash.
