IT'SUGAR Liberty Center — Restaurant in Liberty Township

Actually, I've always liked going to the store, even when the prices are incredibly overpriced. my son was also a big fan of this store...until today. the employee gave us a very uncomfortable time. when we entered the shop, she strolled along boredly and didn't even say hello to us. we were watched by her the whole time, while she was standing in a corner behind the registers. her yawning and moaning while she had to lay down her head on the cash desk (to take a little break from being annoyed of her customers or from last night?!) was really terrible. in between she briefly disappeared back into the back of the shop and you could hear the toilet flushing. I don't even want to talk about her pajama bottoms and the noise of her mobile phone. cardboard boxes were stacked in the middle of the store and you couldn't get close to some stuff. oh yes, then there wasn't even soft music playing in the background... what a nice mix, our shoes making noises on the sticky floor, the lady’s yawning and otherwise dead silence. I understand that it's not particularly nice to have to work on a public holiday, but I've rarely seen such a bored and hopeless unmotivated...

Employees are friendly, but the selection is not good. The bulk candy is incredibly overpriced and is very poor quality. The chocolate used is especially bad. A Hershey bar is 100 times better than what they use in the bulk chocolate items, and Hershey's is not even good to start with. The gummy items are okay, but nothing special; what you can get at any grocery store is easily comparable and much cheaper.

They do have a handful of okay gag/novelty gifts, but nothing amazing. Of the specialty or imported items, you could get them at Jungle Jim's for less money.

Not worth the trip there in my opinion. I wish I could return what I bought, but they said no returns on bulk or open items. That is a poor policy; most places will return open items if it is still almost all there or is of a...
