I've been a Massey's customer for over 40 years. Since moving out of state about 12 years ago, we have ordered it shipped, snuck it in our suitcases on airplanes, driven across the country with pizza packed in ice dozens of times and bragged on the best pizza on earth. We were back in OH for a few weeks and ordered a pizza via an online delivery service. Weird...maybe a couple of teaspoons of cornmeal under the crust and the crust was quite overdone. But we love the sauce and the curly pepperoni and chalked it up to the delivery service. They must have shaken the box a little too much and they probably have cornmeal all over their car. A week or so later, we ordered again and this time my husband picked it up from the Sawmill/Powell Road location. Same, scenario. For the first time EVER, Massey's leftovers got THROWN AWAY I messaged Massey's on Facebook and they replied asking which location. I answered them. (by the way I have not heard anything from them since they asked what location and I told them about the third problem as well--crickets). I was heading back home and called to get a pizza to sneak into my suitcase. I told the person that answered the phone that I wanted extra cornmeal and not to cut it as I was going to freeze it taking it in my suitcase overseas. I told him several times...extra cornmeal like Massey's Pizza. Lots of cornmeal. (That is what keeps the pizza from sticking and burning and makes the crust extra crunchy.) Picked it up. Barely any cornmeal and burned. This time we returned to the store and asked for a refund. I gave you three tries. Bye, bye Masseys. My second favorite pizza has moved up to number 1. Next time we're in town we're headed right to Tommy's. (Photos...one shows me holding up the burned pizza with a minuscule amount of corn meal and one shows what Massy's pizza crust used to look like).

Alright—Massey’s Pizza, Powell location. Walked in, ordered the pepperoni, Hawaiian, and some wings. Standard order, testing the fundamentals. Let’s start with the pepperoni—thing is loaded. Like, absolutely stacked with crispy, curled-up pepperoni. Cup-and-char heaven. The cheese? Melted perfectly. Sauce? Surprisingly flavorful—has some depth to it. Crust? Thin and crisp with a cornmeal dusting underneath. Holds up when you lift it. Undercarriage is solid. This isn’t greasy, floppy junk—this is tavern-style done right. Hawaiian? Not bad at all. Heavy on the toppings—sweet pineapple, thick-cut ham, decent balance, though maybe a little less pineapple wouldn’t hurt. Again, crust holds up, and nothing slides off. Clean execution. Wings? Fine. Not dry, not oily, just okay. Won’t blow your mind, but they round out the order. Now… the crew? Not exactly dialed in. Looked more interested in the group chat than the customers. Lotta laughing, lotta standing around. No urgency. Then they panicked when someone ordered 25 pizzas last minute. :) But hey, I didn’t come here for sparkling customer service—I came for the pizza. And the pizza? Delivers. For a chain, it’s fresh, flavorful, consistent. Not trying to be Neapolitan, not trying to be something it’s not. It’s Friday night pizza. It’s Columbus tavern-style done with care. Final score: 7.1 out of 10. Would I come back? Absolutely. Just don’t expect the red carpet.

Take a look at all that pizza on the BUFFET!! They'd put out 1 pizza with a full house and then tell us it'd take 10 minutes for another - OVER AND OVER 😒 Issue was the "cook" had his sister visiting and talking back in food prep IN HER SLIPPERS LOL Rather than working, they were socializing THE ENTIRE TIME!! Oh, and the only thing they did bring out was cheese or pepperoni. Sad thing is this use to be the best location but not anymore. PATHETIC I'll never be back!!

If I could give a negative 100 I would!!! Ordered three pizzas and was told it would be 45 minutes. No pizza! Called when we were 30 minutes past that and told it was out for delivery... waited 25 minutes more called again and was told they never got our order even though we got an email confirmation from them. We were then told our order was delivered to the wrong house? Hmmm someone just paid for three pizzas they didn’t order?!? The staff was rude and completely unaware of what was going on when I called. The phone was passed to the delivery guy after the person that answered the phone said she had no idea what was going on because she just started her shift at 4. There was laughter in the background the entire phone call... I was told there was no manager... really? Owners name was Tony... maybe?!?! No last name! Promised to deliver my order within 20 more minutes and here I wait! This is an appalling display of unprofessionalism and disregard for your patrons when the business is run in this manner! No accountability and no apology! How you are still open is beyond me! We have been loyal Masseys pizza patrons since the original one was opened in Whitehall and trust me the guys that started Masseys would be disgusted at how this was handled today! My guests ended up leaving 2 1/2 half hours after we placed the order...
