Connections Cafe is a wonderful hidden gem in Ligonier, PA! If you are planning to spend the day day in or near Ligonier, stop by the Connections Cafe for one of the best lunches you will ever have! They have a wonderful selection of fresh salads, and a homemade soup and frittata of the day. My favorite salads are the French Potato with Walnuts and Blue Cheese, the Orzo Salad, and the Cauliflower and Pea Salad. My daughter loves the Kale & Apple Salad. I love the ORGANIC everything about this place! About time we had a restaurant that serves healthy stuff. I just love to come here when I can. Their salads are out of this world, the Panini's are great too , as are the Teas, French Pressed Coffee and other natural beverages! The Raspberry White Chocolate Tart is wonderful. They also make delicious scones, among other things. They sell Fair Trade merchandise. They are of good quality, unique, one of a kind, as each IS carefully HANDcrafted! Stopped by Connections Cafe for lunch today, and it was a great experience. It's a really quaint and welcoming spot. My spouse and I ordered two different grilled cheeses – the apple grilled cheese and the roasted peppers grilled cheese, plus a side of their curried chicken salad.

Everything we had was excellent. You can tell the food is made fresh every day, and while the menu is small, it's definitely a quality-focused one, which I prefer.
