The first red flag was the horchata DID NOT taste good. The menu did not have much to offer from different Hispanic regions. The photos on the menu did not look appealing whatsoever. The food we received was served on styrofoam plates. I don’t know what kind of restaurant would be okay with serving their food solely on plastic plates that can be found at dollar tree… I ordered baleadas and my friend ordered tacos. His tacos did not have flavor at all; he noted the tortilla had more flavor than the actual food. As for my food, there was too much crema which tasted funky by itself; the asada tasted good, but the chicken was a solid 4/10. The tortilla de harina was pretty good tho, so props for that? They also OVERPRICED the food; the prices on the menu are completely different than what was actually charged, almost $4 for one stupid taco????? If you like drinking out of styrofoam cups and eating on styrofoam plates, eating “cheese” that has the consistency of milk, pencil eraser sized bits of meat - and not very many of them - on your nachos, a server that doesn’t check on you even one time - even when there is only one other couple in the restaurant - and when you go to the counter to pay for this horrible “dining” experience, they try to increase the price of the meal that is printed on the menu, then this is the place for you. Then the server calls the manager on the phone, who then tells you over the phone that you must pay a higher price than is listed on the menu. Possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I am actually crying in the car as I write this review because I am soo disappointed starving! My husband is going in to get our money back. The food took almost 45 minutes to be ready and was made wrong! By the way, the girl taking our order was very rude and rolled her eyes several times in the ordering process. When the food was corrected, the three burritos looked like something my daughter made!!! Cold beans and half the size of a normal burrito!!! And, they gave 4 hot sauces and were going to charge me extra for more.....not even two sauces per burrito after spending over $60 in their restaurant. The tamales had huge bones in them, as well. We will never order from this place...
