First time at this new restaurant I was intrigued after passing it and I like Mexican restaurants. But this one missed the mark on a few things. The good: It was fun and festive inside the wait staff was nice it was alot of seating and they have live music. The parking was good seated waiting area! The prices were not terrible and they are open until1:00 am and the menus are absolutely designed beautifully.
The bad: We waiting 20 mins before anyone acknowledges we were there or gave us water. The waitress was apologetic so no harm not foul. She was nice and checked on us throughout dinner. The food was just okay! The barria tacos were decent the corn was amazing. The nachos I ordered were prepared wrong and arrived cold. I ordered steak and shrimp but it was chicken and steak she offered to bring me shrimp but then tried to charge me for the mistake. I sent the entire thing back the second one I got had the right meat but it was barely any meat on it literally had maybe 1 oz of meat (steak was chopped) shrimp it was maybe 3 whole shrimp cut up if that. It was too wet too much wet lettuce and toppings and the cheese was watery. It made for a mess I only ate some of it and t left the rest. The portion was big and the chips were good. Also please note not free chips you have to buy those (5.00)
The music was good but loud because the band moves around and they were right behind us. Then to the other side of the bar but the manager turned on regular music so they were both playing at the same time. Then the staff does a dance seemed like every 15 mins but all this music at the same time. We left once we finished. They just opened so maybe they are working out the kinks but not sure if I would return. Gwinnett police were parked outside and came inside once but never left so I’m not sure if that’s...
Read moreFood is okay, there’s different options, the place is well maintained. My complaint would be the service. It was just me and my hubby and our server would not stop by our table. From the beginning, he asked if we wanted drinks. We requested water in the mean time and he never brought us waters. 10 min later he comes back to our table to see if we’re ready to order. We told him he forgot about our waters and he went to the back and took another 10 min to bring our waters. After that, he took our order. Food came out quick which I can’t complain about. Our server didn’t come to our table to see if we need anything. He was more occupied attending the bigger table group. We would’ve tipped pretty good if he would’ve came and asked if we need anything cause we did. We still left a tip but I feel like the party size shouldn’t matter. All tables should be treated equally. We paid on the QR code that was on our receipt and the server still had the audacity to run after us when we were in the parking lot and came quick to conclusion that we didn’t pay. We told him we did on the QR code and he turned around and didn’t even say sorry. My first experience wasn’t great. I would go back and maybe next time it’ll be a...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place but it just didn’t hit like I thought it would. Let me start off with the cons. I think the food was overpriced for basic items. It said it was supposed to be “authentic” Mexican food but it was just ehh and nothing we ate made me feel excited. lol. My burrito was dry, salsa was too sweet, guac had too much lime, and they didn’t have the frozen margarita like I wanted. The music while being a bonus was actually way too loud when there was only about 10 people in there at the time. Now the pros. I think the presentation they have for the menu items is really nice, definitely picture worthy. The atmosphere is 100% night life vibes. The interior is decorated very nicely and is a great spot for groups. They also had a live dj playing music so that adds to the vibe. Everyone was very attentive to us as well. Overall this was just not that good food wise in my opinion so I have no desire to go back. Hopefully over the next few months they get better in that department since I know they...
