The food here was delicious! We had the pork bun, which was yummy. Personally, I thought the bun itself was a little too thick, so at times I felt like I was just eating bun instead of the filling, but it was still very tasty. We also got the Godzilla roll and the Washington roll and both were amazing!!! I had the black garlic ramen and the broth was very flavorful, the noodles were great and the chasu was so tender and delicious. My only gripe was the egg - it's hard boiled, not soft boiled like most ramen, but honestly, everything else was so good that I didn't mind that. Also, I tried their homemade chili sauce and if you like spice, definitely ask for it when you go because it really hits the spot!! The service was also great - everybody was really kind and the service was quick. We went around 430 and had our pick of tables. Its a very clean restaurant as well. Can't wait to go back again!!

It was our first time eating here today. Overall, it was a very decent dining experience. Service was very good. Our server was very polite, courteous and efficient. Food was good. I tried Chirashi Bowl with 15 PCs of sashimi and other assorted ingredients. I always judge the quality of the sushi restaurant by their rice preparation. In that sense, SoHo didn't meet my standard because rice was just plain and not sushi rice (vinegared). To my surprise the rice was covered with furikake beneath pieces of sashimi. I believe their sushi neta (fish) was decent although they were on the somewhat small side but fresh-tasting especially salmon and maguro. My wife said her SoHo Miso Ramen was very tasty (however, it was very salty). She also didn't taste miso too much. I think I'd try other sushi restaurants before I come back here.

I really want to like this spot. The menu features bao buns, ramen, sushi, and boba - all favorites. The weekend vibe is lively and feels like you could lift and shift this to the city. Unfortunately execution is mediocre. This is the third time I’ve grabbed takeout and each time the sushi has been underwhelming. Now, the pricing is awesome so I’d argue value is ok. The rolls just aren’t packed like other spots and the rice is dry. One pic sums it up though. This roll was supposedly featuring avocado and salmon inside with mango, tobiko, radish, and sauce on top. The thin slice of mango is missing a few friends. I can’t comment on the ramen but their small plates have been decent. Also possible they put more love into food served in house. However, I took time to review so other sushi seekers may consider passing.

We ordered sushi, soup, dumplings and the mango kani salad. Literally everything was amazing. My husband says it was the absolute best dumplings he’s ever had. Sushi was super fresh. Salad was light yet flavorful, great side dish with sushi.

We went on a Friday evening and it was VERY busy. I understand it’s a casual eatery but it needs to be more inviting when you walk in. If you’ve never been there, it’s super confusing to figure out the flow and how to order your food. We just sat down and waited for someone to take care of us. Waited about 15 minutes. But we once we were served, we were well taken care of and food came out fast.

We heard a lot of the take out orders saying they had been waiting for over an hour for their food. So clearly a better system is needed to balance the way orders are being taken care of.

But GREAT food! I would just recommend you sit down and eat in. You’ll get your hunger satisfied faster...

Not sure if we just got unlucky because the rest of the reviews on here seem to reflect something different than my experience. Ramen noodles were way overcooked, mushy and formed to the bottom of my takeout bowl. The food shouldn't have been old because it wasn't done until after I got there to pick it up. The sushi was just edible. We always leave a tip but it's nice to have the option and there is no option but to leave 15% or more tip. Again we would have left one but I don't like being told that I have to. Spent $65 for one small appetizer two small cheap sushi rolls and two bowls of ramen. Most of the ramen went in the trash because it was just not good. Wish I could say we had a better experience. Leaving two stars because the restaurant seems nice and the people are nice but it's really about the food. Not the best $65...
