Edited my rating. Last night , me & my daughter went to shop for her T-Shirts. We were in for awhile, before we walked back to the dressing rooms, & seen a sign that said, to use the front of store dressing rooms. There were signs on those doors too. One read closed & the other said something along the lines, to ask associate to open.We walked to the front & asked the female cashier(working register near jewelry), is it not possible to try clothes on tonight. She was in the middle of ringing a customer up. I don't know if she was annoyed from that transaction or from me asking a question but she was a little snippy in her response to me, basically saying she'll open it when she's done. I responded telling her it's cool, we'll wait. My 9yr old didn't hear her, & she asked me if she was allowed to try on her shirts. The cashier whipped her head around, looked directly at my daughter, then me(it can be clearly seen on camera. There was no mistaking it.) And said I just told you, you have to wait!! In a mean tone! That's when I raised my voice to her & said Do not speak to my daughter like that! She didn't hear you and was asking me what was going on! Then a short cashier comes over & said she would help me but started to unlock the jewelry case. I calmly stated,I was waiting for the dressing rooms. She had this sly smirk on her face and stated "they're closed for the night" & turned to walk away. I said funny how before the miscommunication, the other cashier was going to open them but now you're stating they're closed for the night. She smirked again & said yup "they're closed". I had to take my daughter in the aisle where the bath rugs are to try her shirts on (thank God she had a half shirt on underneath her top shirt). I then was approached by a female customer shopping in the men's section(can clearly be seen on camera) that stated to me, the same two associates did the same thing to her about the dressings rooms but at a different time. I've frequented this particular Ross for years, even worked briefly for a holiday season, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM AS AN ASSOCIATE NOR CUSTOMER, until last night. I can understand people are overworked. I worked in fast paced retail for 11yrs straight. That's why I'm patient with cashier's, take my hangers off items to have them ready(last night I didn't bc she didn't deserve it), etc bc I was once that person, but the way her tone was with my 9yr old, I'll be shopping elsewhere...
Read morePretty darn decent shopping experience overall. I once bought high quality Adidas/ possibly nike running shoes for very low cost compared to anywhere else. You get exercise and forced healthy interaction with people by going out to stores as opposed to purchasing ones life on amazon or something similar. Plus you may very well luck out on cheaper prices for much higher quality items than you may find online. Less but well thought out options for shoes and other things in a store like Ross, Dress for less, than you may easily find online. Online always has way to many options/ distractions/ misinformation for goods and services (i.e. the economy/ the world we live in weather we like it or not in the moment) than actually going into ones community and being apart of it/ greatly benefiting from it. Small town People aren't malicious by nature but rather nurture/ the chosen dark sides/ negative reprocussion actions and behaviors of others primary inspired by selfishness bring to the table of life. Read moreThis marketplace is close to my house and my gym. My usual practice is to go to giant and target after the gym. This area I had everything I need and the stores are always clean and well stocked. The Giant even had a scan and bag feature which I love! It’s so convenient to scan and bag your groceries and then just use the scanner when you check out. No waiting in line and your groceries are bagged how you want them. There’s also lots of food places to choose from if you get hungry. Great place to shop and get...
