I only have one word to describe Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta; Lackluster. The idea of having your large portioned meal come out in a pan comes off as very gimmicky. Even more so when the server blatantly pushes your party of two to order two entrees instead of sharing one (mind you entrees average in prices from $35-50 a plate). Not to mention if you do plan on sharing you are forced to pay a $12 fee for the side salad that supposedly comes with “every meal”, just because a second person was added. For a place that prides itself on its gluttonous portions our server, Ivana didn’t miss a chance to shame us for ordering extra bread for our appetizer, claiming “the portions are very big… you don't want to do that” in a condescending tone. She seemed as if she was denying us the bread and then later brought it to the table anyway. Ivana rushed us even though we were the only table in the restaurant at opening. She came to our table 3 or 4 times in the span of 10 minutes. When we told her we were still looking (despite the very lengthy menu) she laughed at us and told us when we were ready, to call her over, rather than to just check up on her table like a normal server should do. We were so excited to give this place a chance because we are big foodies and we come to NH every summer, but the food was simply flavored, and sometimes bland. The key notes of the food consisted of too much cream and peppercorn… way too much peppercorn. We had just gotten our plates and on our first bite… can you guess? Ivana was over asking us how everything was, in a serious conversation my partner and I just said it was good, but soon after my partner decided he did not like his pasta dish. When returning the plate our server got mad at us for eating no more than 3/4 of the plate, claiming that you should decide to return your meal after 1 bite and one bite only. Despite explaining the situation to her, she was convinced we were trying to get an extra meal (which also was bland and peppercorn filled), she kept shaming us and blaming us for not liking the food. Don’t come here, not only is the food bland but the environment is tacky looking and doesn’t match the look they are trying to create. Definitely regretted not giving my business to the other restaurants in the area. If you want a pleasant experience go to One Love Brewery, they have outdoor seating, live entertainment and a...
Read moreTHEY DO NOT HAVE AC!!!! we came to Jimmy's for seafood dinner on our Honeymoon 1st night at our destination. the menu gave us hope. the Luke warm water served to us with no ice should have been a clue. but we were hungry. my husband got a dark and stormy(with ice) and due to no mint I have to alter my drink from a Mojito to a plain unextravagent white wine. we ordered apps and our main meal. i got the seafood soup and my husband had ceasar salad and we got the Zuppa for 2. of course it's our honeymoon. I wish the server had told us it was actually for 6. because I make the amount of food served to us for our families back home in the same dish they served us in. also I find it offensive that someplace that's supposed to have origins in Martha's Vinyard would have such terrible pasta served in a pan you cooked it in. no presentations at all. the whole meal was over layden with dry herbs so much you will pick it our of you soul for days. it would be impossible to finish the broth from the soup. the servers were pleasant but that doesn't make us want to come back. FURTHERMORE!! I have a coconut allergy and I had to go to urgent care due to someone wearing lotion or coconut oil. and possibly cross contamination. I have been itchy and everything OUR WHOLE TRIP. I really thought about letting go this experience go but I don't want another bride to go threw what I...
Read moreHidden gem in the White Mountains! We are repeat customers and have dinner every time we are in the area. Each time has been outstanding. On our most recent visit with our adult children we ordered the limoncello spritzers, burrata cheese appetizer and grilled shrimp appetizer, the land and sea ( rib eye, grilled shrimp and pasta), pesto penne, big family style salad and a nice bottle of Chianti. All of the entrees were cooked to perfection and served piping hot. On our last visit, we ordered the lobster ravioli which was also delicious. It is run like a small family business and you feel like you are the staffs number one priority. It is located in the center of Lincoln but on second floor of a mall so you have to look for it. Make sure to go hungry as the portions are very generous. Here are a few pictures. One is the Land and Sea as stated on menu and the other is the Land and Sea with broccoli substitution for pasta. The other pictures are Chicken Broccoli Ziti and Chicken, Artichokes, Shrimp - no pasta ( Broccoli was substituted but...
