Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Lincoln

As someone who has worked at a scooters, I know what customer service from scooters is supposed to look like. I did it every day with a smile on my face. When I went and visited yesterday (10/21/22) at the gateway mall location around 4 pm, I was treated in a way that makes me not want to go back for awhile. The lady taking my order looked at me and treated me like I had come along to ruin her day. I waited paitently for my items and when my coffee was done, it wasn't even called out. The only reason I knew it was mine is because I have worked at scooters. I know the order before mine also sat there forever until the lady who ordered it finally had to walk up and ask if it was hers. Overall just not great customer service. Definitely don't plan on going...

Almost every time I go there, the customer service is terrible and they aren’t at all friendly or nice. Aside from the unfriendly customer service, I’ve seen them multiple times climb on top of the counter behind their register (where people can use to sit at and plug in their phones) and dust the counter, which makes the dust go everywhere including on the side where the drinks and food are prepared!!!!!!!!! So there may be dust in your drinks!!! It seems as though a step stool must be too much of a hassle to use or buy for this location. So overall, 1 star is just being way too generous. This scooters at Gateway is by far the worst I’ve been to because of how disrespectful the staff is and how they go about their business...

The girl working the register was pleasant, but the girl making the drinks was not. Odered a large pumpkin creme cold brew tonight, with a shot of espresso. Didn't see anyone make an espresso shot, didnt smell espresso, didn't see her put any in the cup, and when I tasted it, zero espresso. I walked back up to her and said "Excuse me, but I ordered a shot of espresso in my cold brew and it doesn't taste like there is any in here?" She rudely replied "If it was ordered like that, I put it in there." That was it, no further discussion. I paid 9 dollars for a cold brew coffee with an extra shot and tip. I got a regular cold brew, with poor service. My friend tasted it as well and we both knew there was no espresso...
