It's Super Bowl Sunday 2022. Naturally, places like Buffalo Wild Wings would be busier than usual but I ordered the 20/20 combo at 10:45am when I called them to ensure my order would go through to be ready for pick up at 4:00pm. The lady asked for my credit card information and gave it to her so that the restaurant can "hold my order." I then called at 2:00pm to push the order back to 4:30pm instead. I was then told that they never put my order in when I called in the morning. So thankfully I called again and they were able to place my order for a 4:30pm pick up. When I get there, they said that my order would take a couple of minutes... but I waited over 82 minutes before I can get an update that I placed twice in advance earlier in the day.
If the kitchen is backed up in orders, I would assume the manager on duty would go in the back in the kitchen to help out or send people there to assist. When I worked at a restaurant, the kitchen would get as much help possible to ensure orders got out on time. However, there were many staff members just waiting alongside with the rest of the customers who placed their order in advanced. I was just appalled that the manager was on her phone in the main lobby jusy complaining to her staff that there were "over 54 pages of orders." Well I figured that if there that many orders... GO IN THE BACK AND HELP! I'm sure the wings would go in the oven twice and take about 15-20 minutes (as they usually do in other establishments). But when you have a couple of staff members (between 4-5) in the front just walking and waiting around, its crazy that there is no initiative to get orders out as quick as possible.
I was also talking to a gentleman and he said that he ordered at 10:00am for 4:00pm pick up. And then he proceeded to speak with the manager and see what's up. The manager just said "I understand, I understand and that there was nothing she could do." I felt so bad for the gentleman. Unfortunately, I also waited the same amount of time and had to pay full price for an order I placed HOURS ahead. The gentleman was complaining of an order and a short hispanic staff member replied back "you giving me attitude right now. You don't want be doing that." How appalling and unprofessional!
This Buffalo Wild Wings has been absolutely the worst store that provided the worst experience to order Wings from. There is a lack of initiative and a lack of hospitality for guests concerns who made orders in advance. However, if there is a shortage of staffing or a limit as to how many people can work on the kitchen by Corporate, then shame on them too because that will affect how the people on duty work and manage the restaurant. This place is not prepared at all and a lot of the customers that have been waiting will never come back and give their business to this store.
I ended up canceling and had to leave. Worst Buffalo Wild Wings Ever. Avoid this location...
Read moreWell since I have to give one star that will be all I give. 1 star. Super Bowl 2022/Valentineâs Day weekend. I prepared myself for the day by ordering well in advance. I ordered online LAST THURSDAY just to avoid exactly what happened anyway. As I arrived at Buffalo Wild Wings in Linden, I was already met with a crowd of people and a bunch of take out orders on the table. My order was supposed to be ready at 5:00PM. I knew it would be busy so I prepared myself to wait 20-30 minutes tops! 2 hours later and countless encounters with various staff members I finally received my food. The frustration was growing by the minute.
To add insult to injury the lack of customer service was appalling! The staff seemed to be growing upset because of the backlash from the customers (including myself) who clearly paid for their orders in advance only to constantly see Uber Eats and Door Dash orders being made first. The manager told us she has 80 pages of orders. So at no point did you stop the orders from coming through knowing that you were not at the capacity to fulfill them?? Thatâs customer service 101!!! Secondly, your staff needs major training on empathy and accountability. A waiter told me it wasnât his fault that the food wasnât done. Blaming the kitchen staff. Hereâs a bit of adviceâŚ.you donât push the blame onto someone else when youâre standing at the forefront representing the company. Also customer service 101!
Needless to say I was still sitting in there after kickoff. It was daylight when I arrived. I noticed as the dining room grew more crowded the take out orders were coming out a lot slower. Honestly if it wasnât for another customer waiting endlessly for her order speaking up on behalf of both of us Iâd probably be still waiting all the way through halftime.
Buffalo Wild Wings of Linden DO BETTER!!! For others that is because I will NEVER give my business to that...
Read moreWent to this awful location specifically to watch a game that I had a bet on. I have been to maybe 100 BWWs in my life. Always enjoy the experience.
We got there and it wasnât particularly crowded, but the staff was frazzled and confused from minute one.
The hostess didnât know where to seat us and said that the only table she had was one facing one TV that had a UFC fight on it. Iâm not watching that shit.
So I asked to sit at one of the bar tables. Lots of TVs and I asked for the Oklahoma/Mississippi game. College Football. âSure - No Problemâ
great.
We sat there for 5-7 minutes. No waitress, no tv change that I asked for. So I figure we have to order at the bar.
Bartender says âUh - lemme checkâ. No, we have to order with a waitress. (How do you not know immediately what your responsibilities are?)
I ask for the Oklahoma/Mississippi game again, but this time I ask the bartender. âSure. No Problemâ
great
5 more minutes pass - no waitress. Ok. I ask again. âSheâs comingâ.
great
Waitress comes, takes out order. âThank you. Any chance I can get the Oklahoma/Mississippi game on that TV thatâs playing last nightâs knicks post-game studio report? âSure No problemâ
great
Waitress disappears for another 10 minutes. I ask a waiter who is at the TV control station about the Oklahoma Game. âSure No problem.â
great
10 more minutesâŚWe get our food. Oklahoma Game? Please? âSure No problem. Sorry about thatâ
great
I go to eat my sandwich: A) itâs disgusting B) Itâs the wrong sandwich.
Waitress is nowhere to be found for another 15 minutes.
So finally, I tell the bartender:
My game never came on My food is wrong I have no waitress I have to leave.
She hands my check to another guy who ftee 5 more minutes then takes the sandwich off the bill.
I leave hungry and never able to watch one second of the game that I drove 20 minutes away from my sonâs baseball...
