Flaming Grill & Buffet — Restaurant in Linden

A kid started puking at the table behind us and the parents waited till forever to get him out staff was notified they waited before coming leaving the puke unattended than they swept it up with a broom and dustpan and sat the next guests there I was fuming because we just sat down to eat lost our appetite and we changed the tables on our own because we were super close to the splash zone and I was disgusted and so was my family we didn't even want to eat anymore the staff didn't disinfect the table or the floor where majority of it was they cleaned it with a dustpan and broom which was disgusting and they brought foam scrubbing bubbles wiped down the table after a while of waiting and than wiped the napkins but nothing else than the manager was notified and they still continued to sit customers there my family and I kept telling people not to sit there because they hadn't cleaned it properly they didn't care!!!!!!!! This place is insanely disgusting and unsanitary how could you sit new customers in a pulley spot that wasn't properly disinfected this was disgusting and atrocious with customers eating and customer service with how the establishment handled the situation this place has never been the most sanitary I saw a sushi chef picking his butt like deep in it this sealed the deal for me after today don't eat here people keep ur money and go elsewhere u don't want to get sick from this place who doesn't honor health codes and standards this place should be shut down for how neglectful they are if they are like this with the cleanliness of the establishment and bathrooms just imagine the horrors that they neglect for safe food practices. One star I'd never do what they did...

I went to Flaming Grill on my Anniversary with my husband 9.29.24 just to relax n enjoy our time together. The one in Linden NJ the first two times I went was decent . But today wasn’t we went, we were seated we got our food and sat down we did not order juice or soda but we did ask for some water. And well let’s just say I should of listen to my sister when she kept saying that place is dirty many people have complained about this place being dirty n that they allow ppl to stick they hand in the food etc etc. I told her that I never really had an issue with this place in Linden but the one on Newark NJ I had my phone get stolen in there n so I crossed Newark Flaming Grill out n said I will stick to the one in linden being that I went there twice before n had or seen no issues. But today I promise you they proved me wrong n my sister was right. Because kid you not i receive my cup of water with ice and a floating dead roach. When I say I was highly upset n lost my appetite real quick I flipped asked that they refund my husband back his money for our visit n kindly walked out photo inserted n yes others seen n hope they don’t go there any more. Because this situation is unacceptable like how do you serve a person a glass of water with ice with a dead roach inside this goes to prove that what others had to say bad about this restaurant in reviews is true. And although people will still flock they ass over to that buffet I for myself will never step foot in there n will never recommend this restaurant in linden location or Newark location both are disappointing restaurants that need to be gone....

Not very welcoming or good experience with the sushi staff also when i confronted them regarding the unfresh and dirty steamed crab. the manager got offended and told me its fresh and then went back in the kitchen and the cook came back with him and the cook got angry and try to hit me. back handed my shoulder because the manager pushed him and told him to return to the kitchen. This is very unacceptable. I came to this location by mistake because we usually go to there location in manville NJ which is the best very clean and amazing staff. I guess the location does matter because there bathrooms are Hideous Anders toilet paper on the floor, urin on the floor the sinks are cracked and filthy.

Sushi chef was in his winter jacket seems like he didn't want to work. The sushi was old and some salmon sushi had worm coming out of it. All seats in the seating area were torn. My spouse went to the ladies bathroom and same issue dirty and one sink had only cold water and the other sink had only hot. No cold. No paper towels.

Ps Only good thing was the hibachi chef, very nice chef and cooked very well.

I am not angry at the flaming grill. only anger at how poorly the staff behaved with their customers and how the cook had audacity to attempt to hit me because I complained about their dirty steamed crabs and the sushi.
