ALDI — Local services in Linden

This place is good! My only complaint is how disorganized the cashier line is. It’s literally one big line and it switches locations all the time, one day it’s in aisle 2 another day it’s all the way by the freezers and sometimes if you come in with a hurry you tend to not see it because it’s on the other side of the store which was the case with me today. I had 2 items and I didn’t see the line at all so I went into a cashier line and a lady came out mad that I had cut her in line.. I’m like where is this line at? I have made 2 extra trips to Aldi to return beef patties which were horrible & took the cash not a replacement I went today because the albacore tuna in the can was rotten the smell was totally disgusting. Dated for 2030 but did not make it to 2017. I got a refund and asked me to throw it out. In line the shoppers could smell it too. Now I will have to go back to Bumble Bee Tuna albacore the price is fine at ALDI's but I will still shop there for it IS good on prices. The cashier was wonderful. However the manager is a piece of work- that is putting it mildly. A customer forgot her coupons, but the cashier forgot how to remedy it after the purchase was complete. The manager was upset because he had to come help and berates the cashier and is curt with the customer. The cashier was extremely apologetic. A little too much for me. I finally had to say to everyone that it was a simple mistake and it was no one's fault! I continued by saying that they are both human and not robots, so mistakes would happen.
