The best Starbucks ever! The staff is not only kind, but understanding no matter how many customizations you make! I have been to almost every Starbucks in the local area, and BY FAR this one is the best. Sure, the lines can get long...and yes people may complain that they have to wait...but this Starbucks isn't just "a Starbucks"...this is THE Starbucks to go to if your looking for the best combination of staff and quality baristas. You would wait in a line at a well known pizzeria, so why is it so hard to understand that you would do the same at a quality café? My only advice to those in a rush: this may not be the Starbucks for you, and if so...thats ok, there are other Starbucks not far from this location that put more emphasis on speed and accuracy and they would LOVE to have you stop by too!
So, if speed and accuracy aren't the main points of this location, what are? Well...Bere and her team of incredible associates not only make this Starbucks feel warm and welcoming, but they make it feel like a home away from home. Friendly community gatherings putting emphasis on COMMUNITY with events like BINGO, and special treatment for EMT, police, firefighter, and emergency service personnel coupled with friendly smiles will help you realize that this isn't just a Starbucks, this is a community of its very own. At this location expect to see custom decorations with amazing artistry from local baristas on staff, a comment book to give and inspire positivity, and lots of compassion all around. I can't say ENOUGH about this location.
In a search for a Starbucks to call my "home away from home" all I can say, is that this location nails it to a T and I know personally that other locations pale in comparison. Again, this location GETS BUSY. My advice was stated earlier: either deal with the lines patiently, or other locations in the area can handle the speed you are looking for. However, if you are looking for a "home away from home" whether you are working on your latest great art piece, midterm paper, field notes for a job, meeting old friends, etc stop in and see Bere sometime, you will NOT regret...
Read moreI used to actually enjoy going to this Starbucks to eat & study. The place was clean and the staff was always friendly & accommodating. Today was quite different! I will say this is probably the first time I've been here in the evening but the experience from beginning to end was just bad. It was not busy at all yet the order taker seemed to be in a rush. I asked a couple questions as I tried to quickly figure out this new, condensed menu & she answered in a such a hurry while keeping this plastered on smile like she was doing her best to tolerate me. Another girl overheard & politely answered my questions. I then went to use the bathroom while waiting on my order and both bathrooms were atrocious to say the least. I'll spare you the details but I passed & just went back to get my coffee. Long story short my $6 macchiato tasted like a big cup of vanilla milk and I guess the customer isn't always right because when I said something to the same girl who took my order she proceeded to tell me how the drink is made & how there are 2 shots of espresso, etc... in the same annoyed, hurried tone as if I asked or even needed to defend anything about this $6 cup of milk. Don't tell me how the watch was made, just tell me the time!! She finally just offered to make it over herself. It tasted just the same but I took it and left before I allowed anyone to put me in a bad mood ... oh & I had to pee. Hope it's not a new management situation & they get...
Read moreFirst I’d like to say thank you to Michelle for reaching out to me to resolve the situation but I’d still like to share the horrible experience as a first time customer of this location. Upon walking in you can see the attitudes on both employees faces. They took FOREVER to make a cold/ice drink and when I asked when will it be ready I was ignored directly in my face. The female looked at me and rolled her eyes. So I asked was she hard of hearing or acting like she was deaf. I asked for a full refund and she told her coworker don’t worry about making it anymore. So that answered my question she’s able to hear. As I proceeded to the door after the refund the young man (of his own gender preference) decided to come around the counter and ask “are you slow” not knowing who he was speaking to I turned around and he repeated “yea you are you slow” sadly, I do have a disability. As hurt as I was I threw some words back at him as well. Never NEVER in my years since being diagnosed has anyone EVER discriminated against me or disrespected me in that manner. I immediately called corporate as I did not want to get any legal parties involved due to the degrading remark he made, making Starbucks pay for his unkindly mistake. I still think about it to this day and it’s still a trigger to me. I won’t say DO NOT go to this Starbucks, im just giving my experience and apologies for anyone who has a disability, remember...
