Lola's Handcrafted Churros — Restaurant in Lisle

Let me start by saying i am not a sweets guy. I stopped by because i heard from a colleague this place had good churros. I wanted to surprise my wife with a treat for her so i stopped by on my way home from work. I am glad i did. The service was excellent. The counter girl gave me a few suggestions so i picked up a Lolas Churro strawberry milkshake, a box of assorted churros, some had fruity pebbles cereal on them, one of them had chocolate and almonds, one was plain, one was coated with cinnamon and there was 2 others coated similarly. I also had a red velvet strawberry ice cream with a giant chocolate with cereal covered churro. I tried all 3 because my wife said i was trying to give her diabetes amd sbe couldnt eat them by herself. She was right so i helped her. I could not put the milkshake down. Again i do not crave or enjoy these types of things like most people, i just dont crave them that way but man were these good! The milkshake was not ober the top sweet like you would think being that it had Lolas Churro inside. It was delicious. Best Milkshake i ever had! Ice cream with Giant churro was made exactly like in the picture and it also did not disappoint. It was delicious as well and again not as sugary as you would think with all the combinations of treats. Amd i think thats what sets this place apart. Normally if you consume these types of treats experts will tell you its not good for you. But again. These were NOT over the top sugary or sweet. It's one of the cutest spots I've seen in a long time. My family & I had made it a point to set out & visit. I had no clue that the woman that took our orders was Lola, who's such a sweetheart.🤗 We told her how we found her shop on Instagram, so, she gave us advice on how to order our treats. She did not disappoint. I ordered the Nutella & Strawberries Churro Sundae with the seasonal ice cream (🍍). The presentation was simply beautiful: a work of art. The taste...🤦🏾‍♀️...I had to tell myself to chew slowly because I just wanted to devour my churro in 3 bites!😂 I regret just now posting my review as our visit was about a month ago, & all the emotions I felt eating this treat have returned.😭😂🤣

Oh, those of you who love photo ops can definitely take up on that here, as there's an area that seems specifically designed for it. My nieces had taken advantage of it. The shop is quaint but so full of personality. It reminds me of the ice cream shops from the old movies. The music was a perfect volume where you could still have a quiet conversation. It's absolutely worth it. The professionalism mixed with the sweet demeanor of the staff sold me well before I ever tasted anything. You all made our trip worth it, Lola! Thank you....

Absolutely amazing experience! The handmade churros were crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside—perfectly golden and coated with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar and our favorite toppings. The flavors were incredible, especially when paired with their rich chocolate nutella and strawberry or fruity pebbles and matcha, just wow, amazing!

What made the visit even better was the outstanding customer service. The ladies were so friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect and believe me it was the Lola’s latte was so good I drank it before I got home and omg, it came with a heart shaped straw. Now that made me smile and want to keep the straw lol They even took the time to make conversation with me about living in different areas of Illinois. I swear They made us feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their products down to the last touch, it shows!

So If you’re a fan of churros, and great customer service this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back for...
