I went in with high expectations. I was underwhelmed. The advertising pictures are a disconnect from what you get. The only true flavor I enjoyed was the kheer ice cream . Overall, I found the amount of "uniquely desi" flavors lacking and the rest, including "Dumont chocolate" was nothing special - especially when you consider the price point. We also tried a sundae and was disappointed that it was literally served in a small paper cup. Nothing "sundae" about it in terms of preparation, presentation and flavor profile. If you must try, I'd recommend settling for a single scoop of a single flavor after you try it. For ice cream, I'd just go to the nearby Handel's and for Falooda, the next door Ked's. Overall, I'd just make a weekend trip to Houston for some truly excellent dessert offerings at better prices. The service and ambience were nice though.

WOW! From top notch service, to the pristine environment, and of course the reason to go~ice-cream, coffee, or a unique dessert this place will blow you away. I can’t remember walking into a place where I literally wanted everything on the menu. Will be back again! They also had a cute astronaut toy for my toddler which just made the family experience even better. Don’t let that fool you, people of all ages were here and they kept coming, definitely won’t be a hidden gem for long. Would have taken pic of what we got but it was so good we ate it too quickly! The Hokey Pokey & Coffee with Chocolate Waffle cones were two favs

Certainly! Here's a draft for your Google Maps review: Title: "Divine Kheer Flavor and Charming Ambiance!" Review: "We've visited this ice cream store nearly 10 times, and each visit leaves us craving more! The Kheer flavor is simply divine - it's a perfect blend of creamy goodness with just the right hint of sweetness. The ambiance adds to the experience, with its welcoming atmosphere and cozy seating. But what truly steals the show are the charming spoons - they add an extra touch of joy to every scoop. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delightful treat and a memorable experience!"

A Delightful Treat at Dumont Creamier!

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dumont Creamier, and I can't stop raving about the wonderful experience I had there. From the delicious flavors to the impeccable cleanliness and top-notch service, Dumont Creamier truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

Flavorful Heaven: ★★★★★

Dumont Creamier offers a delightful array of ice cream flavors that cater to every palate. Whether you're a fan of classic options like vanilla and chocolate or an adventurous spirit looking to try something unique, they have you covered. The flavors are rich, creamy, and bursting with real ingredients. My personal favorite was their Kheer, which had the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, leaving me craving for more. Each spoonful was a burst of flavor, and the quality of their ingredients is truly unmatched.

Spotlessly Clean: ★★★★★

Cleanliness is of utmost importance when it comes to enjoying food, and Dumont Creamier understands that completely. The entire establishment, from the entrance to the seating area, was spotlessly clean. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that they prioritize hygiene and take the extra effort to maintain a clean environment for their customers. It made my visit even more enjoyable and comfortable.

Exceptional Service: ★★★★★

The service at Dumont Creamier is nothing short of exceptional. The staff members were warm, friendly, and eager to assist with recommendations and samples to help me find my perfect flavor. They were patient, even with a line of customers, and their enthusiasm for their craft was evident. It's clear that the team at Dumont Creamier genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for every visitor.

Overall, Dumont Creamier is a gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet escape. Their flavors are divine, their establishment is impeccably clean, and their service is second to none. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened store, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Let me delve deeper into each of the aspects that make this newly opened store truly exceptional:

Modern Design: The store’s modern design isn’t just aesthetically pleasing; it’s also incredibly functional. The layout is thoughtfully planned. The comfortable seating, well-lit spaces, and seamless integration of technology for ordering and payment all contribute to a seamless and modern dining experience. One thing that I would suggest them to improve upon is to think about solo diners. The seating is more catered towards group dining.

Ambience: The moment you step inside, you’re transported to a world of elegance and comfort. The carefully curated decor, with its modern aesthetic and soothing color palette, creates an environment where you can relax and enjoy your visit. Whether you’re here for a quick treat or a leisurely stay, the ambience sets the perfect backdrop for your experience.

Unique Flavors: What sets this store apart is its commitment to culinary innovation. Their menu is a treasure trove of unique and exotic flavors that tantalize your taste buds. Every item on the menu is a delightful surprise. It’s a place where you can explore new tastes and expand your palate. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself craving their one-of-a-kind creations long after your visit. I can’t just recommend or pick one single flavor as the store has a lot of delicacies that each can compete for the “best flavor” title.

Customer Service: The staff at this store is a testament to exceptional customer service. They’re not just there to take your orders; they’re eager to guide you through the menu, share their recommendations, and answer any questions you might have. Their warmth and attentiveness make you feel like a valued guest to ensure your experience is memorable.

Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to coming back to the store to taste your coffee and...

TL;DR: Sample was great, bought the same flavor from the freezer, got home to find melted, syrupy, disgusting slop that made me gag. Tasted nothing like the sample. Only ever buy freshly packed pints, the freezer ones are a gamble you’ll regret. ——— I bought the Festive Cake pint after tasting a sample in-store, and I was genuinely impressed. It was creamy, balanced, and full of flavor. So, naturally, I grabbed a pre-packed pint from their freezer without giving it a second thought. Big mistake. The moment I opened it at home (literally 2 minutes away), it was like unsealing a disaster. What greeted me was NOT ice cream, it was a thick, slimy layer of brown syrup sitting on top of a soupy mess that looked like it had been left out in the sun all day. I gagged after the first bite. It tasted like someone had melted down a bag of sugar, added fake flavoring, and decided to call it a day.

This had zero resemblance to what I tasted in-store. I don’t know what happened between the sample and the pint I was handed by their freezer, but it felt like a scam. To make things worse, another customer casually mentioned afterward that you should never take the freezer pints, only ask for freshly packed ones. Great advice, but maybe something the store should be telling everyone, not just those lucky enough to overhear a regular.

Lesson learned the hard way. I’m not sure if this was old stock, improperly stored, or just pure laziness on the staff’s end, but it’s completely unacceptable. This is not how you treat customers. If you can’t maintain quality across your products, especially ones you’re literally freezing, you don’t deserve repeat business.

So here’s my advice to anyone planning to buy from here: if it’s not packed fresh in front of you, don’t touch it. You’re better off eating a spoonful of syrup straight from the bottle. At least then, you’ll know what...
