Carelli's Pizza (Little Falls) — Restaurant in Little Falls

The pizza was good but the service was not. My family ate here today. My husband arrived ahead of me and ordered a pie with a CC. When I got there I looked at the menu and asked him to order me a rice ball. He paid with a $20 bill that I gave him. Our food comes out and when my husband goes to leave the man, who didn’t seem that pleasant to begin with, starts interrogating my husband about paying for the food. He said that the bill showed partially settled. Mind you, he was the one that took the money for the rice ball. My husband explained to him how he payed and he continues to question my husband about drink (we didn’t have any). I’m not sure why he would suspect our family (we were with our two kids) would try to get over for a rice ball or pizza pie but it was very insulting the way he questioned him. Give me a break. I decided to try Gencarelli's pizza instead of my usual Giuseppe's in Cedar Grove and boy was I disappointed. First of all it cost $30 for a large pie, 2 toppings, and a 2 L soda...seriously?! What really topped it off is when I opened the pie and the cheese was all over!! It was clearly packaged while still hot because the cheese melted off of the pizza and onto the cardboard box. You couldn't even see where the slice started or ended. I ordered half mushroom and half pepperoni. Unfortunately, the pepperoni was on my side of the mushroom pie, which is an issue as I do not eat pork. Needless to say I couldn't even eat. My family had to break out the pizza cutter, put the pizza back in the oven to crisp it up, and still use a knife and fork to eat it because it was so soggy. The food is pretty decent here but I have to say this is because of customer service. So I get the flyer in the mail for 25% off. It has no date of when it expires. They try to charge me $3 for delivery and I'm right down the street so I decided to drive to pick it up. Will I rushed out to pick it up and I forgot the postcard. Again it doesn't expire. Can you believe they wouldn't just take the 25% off. They have my address my name and everything. And it doesn't expire so what was the difference. Terrible customer service! I even gave them a chance to do the right thing. Aside from all that I get half with bacon and onions. Barely any bacon at all and burnt onions on half of it as you can see in the pictures.
