Chi's Chinese Cuisine has officially become our go-to for Chinese food in Little Rock, and I cannot stop raving about it! My boyfriend introduced me to this gem of a place recently, and we’ve already ordered takeout from there twice this week—that’s how good it is!
His go-to order is the Kung Pao Triple Delight with fried rice and two egg rolls—a perfect combo of flavor, spice, and variety. He swears by it and now I see why! Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were more than generous.
The first time we ordered, I went with the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, and let me tell you—WOW. It was absolutely fantastic. The sweetness of the pineapple paired with the savory chicken and perfectly seasoned rice made it unforgettable. I was hooked after the first bite.
Then last night, we gave in to the craving again and ordered takeout for the second time. I switched it up and got the Chicken Lo Mein because I was seriously in the mood for noodles. And oh. my. gosh. It BLEW ME AWAY. The noodles were silky and flavorful, the chicken was tender, and the whole dish was just packed with deliciousness. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed!
To top it all off, we experienced something totally unexpected and kind of magical—we got identical fortunes in our fortune cookies! Neither of us have ever had that happen before, and we just sat there laughing in disbelief. It was such a sweet and surprising little moment that made the meal even more memorable.
Seriously, Chi’s is a must-try. Incredible food, great portions, and quick service. We’re officially...

The decor inside is nice. The tv/menu setup is easy to read. The to go order was prepared on time (although they didn't tell me how long it would take it was ready in 10 minutes).
The website menu is not accurate. My meal cost an extra $1 when I arrived. My favorite dish, Kung Pao, is offered by Chi's as a Chicken only, beef only, or pork only dish. They have a triple delight that includes vegetables and all three meats. I wanted the veggies and went that route. The dish looked fairly similar to what I order from other places, although the flavors were off. Not certain the particular spice but it was almost a little musty tasting, like when you walk into a basement and it smells musty. Anyways it was a bit too much of perhaps mushroom flavor. The vegetables were meh, it was zucchini, pearl onions and carrots. The meat had been shaved so thin it was not palpable. It was a so so attempt at Kung Pao, there was zero spicy heat/warmth to the dish.
The egg roll was packaged with a chicken wing (weird?) and both were soggy.
The egg drop soup was terrible. It had the similar musty smell described above. It had zero hot to it aside from the fact it had been heated. Similarly it had zero sour. It tasted like some kind of bland stinky sauce.
All this and the price was still higher than nearby restaurants, and this restaurants own menu price. I'm going back...
Read moreExcited to find a dim sum Resturant in Arkansas. The reviews seem to be hit or miss, but with little to no other options, it was worth a shot. Staff was very friendly, I arrived around 12:30 on Sunday and was seated promptly. To be expected, not your typical traditional Dim Sum operation, they have 2 metal steam carts that are on the floor and your server will roll one up at a time and show you the offerings. I was surprised that they had beef tripe, sticky rice, chicken feet, steamed pork ribs, and then your safe bets of pork dumplings and shrimp dumplings. The third cart had your deserts, tarot root cake, fried dumplings, and fried tofu.Overall I was impressed and the staff was constantly restocking the cart, so I don’t feel as if the food is sitting any longer than your typical dim sum Resturant.
I didn’t order anything off the menu, but the Resturant seems busy enough to prove they do a good job as just as many tables were ordering off the menu to dim sum.
It’s obviously not Houston or California level dim sum but for Arkansas it was quite a surprise, manage your expectations and you won’t have an issue.
So for all the dim sum food experts with negative reviews, show me the other options you have in...
