Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Little Rock

This is my first time ever going to a Dairy Queen, and I must say it did not match the hype I've heard over the years. The blizzards were great and all, but it just didn't seem like the business cared about the actual consumer experience.

Ordered a 3-piece chicken tenders meal for about $10, and what I got was closer to a trio of chicken nuggets in size. I'm not being hyperbolic here, none of these "tenders" were longer than my thumb. The rest of the footlong box was full of a shallow bed of fries and condiments.

It would almost be laughable, except that was my SO's order and she was hungrier than I was. I ended up sharing my meal to cover for the pitifully lacking amount of actual food in the tenders box.

And on top of that, I asked for a cupholder at the window, but the one given to me didn't fit the small blizzards we ordered, so my passenger still had to hold them the entire trip home. These cups didn't have lids, and were filled over the lip with ice cream, so of course they just started melting down the sides and made a mess of everything. Searching the bag revealed about 4 total napkins with which to contain this mess.

Overall, I'm just very disappointed and perplexed at the apparent disregard for consumer experience here. It felt like a lot of mismatched components being forced together into some semblance of a franchise restaurant. In my opinion, they should take a portion of their marketing budget and give it to franchise owners to improve the overall quality of the food and customer experience. I don't think they have a problem with brand visibility, but rather one with customer satisfaction...

Kaitlyn is SO RUDE ! We come here all the time and never had an issue but she was all the way around just rude and dismissive when we got up to the speaker she said “go ahead with ur order” so we did and then she said “HOLD ON” a good 3 minutes went by and we just said “hello”? The line was so long behind us so we were trying to get out of the way and she said “I SAID HOLD ON” then another couple of minutes went by and she said “now u can order” so we did and she just kept rushing us telling us our total before we were even done ordering then huffed and puffed when we had a large order which we couldn’t go inside and order because they had a sign on the door that said drive thru only so we finally get to the window hand her the money and asked for dipping sauce just like we did when we ordered since we got 2 kids meals that had 2 tenders each so she proceeds to say “sauce doesn’t come with any meals anymore we have to charge” even tho we ordered 2 sets of tenders so we said ok and went ahead and paid then got the receipt where she put “no dip” on both of our kids meals then charged us at the end when we shouldn’t of been charged in the first place she then passes us everything including our busted bag that she tossed to us and said “oh it’s ripped” and food went everywhere her attitude and lack of customer service was a the real issue...

I just 💟 a decent #MALTSHAKE. My 1st teenie boper job was Orange Julius. I'm currently traveling and the hotel I'm staying at I asked one of my favorite hotel employee would she like to try a #MALTSHAKE from DQ. So I hop in the whip, swoop into the drive thru and ordered a #STRAWBERRYMALTSHAKE.

The person over the speaker tells me that DQ doesn't sell #STRAWBERRYMALTSHAKES. She further clarified that I was ordering TWO different drinks as in her mind #MALTSHAKE is not a shake but just the #MALT powder they put into the #MILKSHAKE!!!🤯🤯 So I gave that long eerie pause and asked what was the difference between a #MILKSHAKE and the #MALT that is added to the shake? She said a #MILKSHAKE is made with milk and we add #MALT to the #SHAKE 🤣😂😱

And that explanation made sense to you??? WOW!!!! She clearly needs additional product training!!!!

I get to the window, I couldn't even look at her, cause if I had I would have busted out in the loudest satirical laughter EVER!!

By the way she didn't make the #MALTSHAKE The girl I bought it for loved it as it was her first EVER!!

Next time I go back I'll order...
