If you havenât been to this coffee shop yet, what are you even doing with your life? This place is not just a coffee shop; itâs a spiritual experience in a mug (and a bowl⌠and on toast).
First, letâs talk about the AçaĂ bowls. You can build your own masterpiece with custom granola and toppings that make you feel like youâve unlocked the secret to eternal happiness. Every bite is like a mini vacation to a tropical island, except youâre in the middle of the city and probably wearing sweatpantsâno judgment.
Now, the avocado toast. Cue the angels singing. This isnât just any avocado toast. This is the avocado toast. Perfectly smashed, creamy avocado on toast thatâs somehow more satisfying than anything youâve eaten all week. It's like the toast found its true calling, and that calling was to be absolutely amazing.
And letâs not forget the sea salt bagels. If bagels could be crowned royalty, these would be the king and queen. Soft, chewy, and with just the right amount of sea salt to make you feel like youâre eating a gourmet snack on a beach in the Mediterranean. You wonât need a vacation if you have one of these in hand.
Lastly, the matcha latte. If matcha were a superhero, this latte would be its cape. Smooth, frothy, and with just the right amount of zen, itâs like sipping on a green elixir thatâs good for your soul (and your Instagram feed).
The coffee? Oh, itâs great too, but honestly, youâll be coming back for the food and the vibe. So grab your laptop, your bestie, or even your dog (Iâm sure theyâll love the vibe) and head over to this coffee shop. Your taste budsâand your Instagram...
Read morebeautiful addition to the local coffee shop scene. best matcha latte I've had in LR. lovely presentation & even better tasting flavors (the El Salvador pour over is amazing). Fidel & Co feels like a space best suited for meetings, studying, and similar activities.
pros: lots of seating options for both groups & individuals, including tables & bar seating, but you may have a lil trouble finding a spot during peak hours. (I went at 3PM on MLK day--may have been more busy because people were off work?) plenty of electrical sockets Bag. Hooks. on near everything. very nice atmosphere. tall ceilings make you feel less cramped. tons of natural lighting. really unique menu items & add-ons. check it out, I've attached an image.
cons: as of right now, there is only one menu. it's small, and located right up by the register. this means you can't see any menu items until you're at the front of the line; if you don't want a standard cafe menu item, you might end up feeling like you're holding up the line. I'm assuming this is an aesthetic choice, but it's low-key annoying for the...
Read moreThere are two locations. One closer to the downtown area. The location closer to the downtown area; , this location has outstanding service + food. Unfortunately, the downtown location does not open on Sunday. Parking tends to be challenging at the downtown location. The location on 500 Stall Ave tends to be busier and less personable. Both stores share the same menu. Weekdays, these places do not open till 7:00am - Starbucks on Broadway opens at 5:30am, oh wait, I think 4:30am. If you have early work or a early flight, these are your options. Prices are up-there, pour- overs are super expensive for what it is ($7+). Pastry options outstanding - especiallyduringtheweekend. Food options are outstanding, although unnecessarily expensive ($6 for a slice of cake). Avocado toast is one of their bestsellers, this is my go-to recommendation if you go there. Other than limited hours during the weekends and weekdays, I don't have a whole lot to comment about. I'm glad Fidel exists in Little Rock - will...
