Learn moreI would give them 0 stars if allowed. It is extremely rare for me write bad reviews about food places but I have already spared this specific McDonald’s too many times. At this point, I’m not even very upset at the usual slowness or the minor order mistakes of this specific restaurant. I know that not too many fast food restaurants are open late at night in Little Rock and I understand that things can get hectic especially if they have new workers. But the customer service at night time is horrible whether you are a customer or a DoorDash driver. I really wish that this McDonald’s would be more food delivery friendly at night like most of the other fast food spots in LR. I used to wait in the long lines at McDonald’s before getting to the speaker but I stopped doing that because it really doesn’t make sense to do that since the customer already pays for their food prior to me even accepting the order. As almost always, both of the lines were backed up so I decided to skip the speaker and went to the window. I have done this quite a few times here but out of nowhere tonight one of the women talked rudely to me like I’m a child like I was supposed to know that they had a rule about DoorDash drivers needing to go to the speaker first. It’s crazy because less than 30 minutes before that, another worker there handed me my previous DoorDash order at the 1st window without any issue and did not tell me that this was a rule. Is there a sign that I somehow missed? It’s bad enough that I can’t go inside to pick up the order at night. This was literally the first McDonald’s (& actually the first fast food restaurant ever) to tell me something like this. I’ve delivered food from over 130 restaurants in Pulaski County at different times of the day, so I’m trying to understand how could she have rudely talked me to me like I was supposed to know. I’ve already had issues with them before but this was my very last straw. Not to mention, one time I was told to pull up to the very last window and they completely forgot about my DoorDash order and they didn’t answer any of my phone calls, so I had to cancel the order and wasted my time. & Also, I had a problem with them another time when I placed my own personal order prior to getting to McDonald’s, told them the last 3 digits of my code at the speaker, and pulled up to the window just for them to blatantly say that my order was never paid for when I’m 100% sure that it was. I have done mobile orders at multiple fast food restaurants including this location. I would have not even been place my order without putting my card info on the app. She (the same worker who was rude to me today about the DoorDash order) tried to make me wait back in line again but instead I just told them to cancel the order. It was already too late at night for me to go back and forth with people who obviously were too lazy to simply give me the large fry and sweet tea at I paid for on the app. Do not go there at night time if you are a DoorDash driver grabbing a customer’s order, if you are in rush or if you simply want good...
Read moreThere's simply no need to treat paying customers as bad as they do. When I pulled up to the drive thru on Sunday evening, 05/22/22, I was the only car there. I asked for a little extra time to make my decision and the lady working the drive thru never came back to me. They were helping the other cars in the first drive thru lane but would not come back to me even though I kept repeating that I was ready, I got nothing but silence. I finally heard a lady say, "pull on up ma'am" so I'm thinking there was a problem with the drive thru speaker. When I got to the window to place my order the young man was rude and said they can't take orders at the window. I explained that I was only at the window because someone told me to pull up. Instead of taking my order, he left the window to talk to his coworker and I could hear them talking about me even with the drive thru window was closed. Apparently the female employee was telling a different customer to pull up and I just happened to hear it over the drive thru speaker, so there was a misunderstanding but it wasn't my fault and it certainly wasn't a big issue. They blew the whole thing way out of proportion and spent so much time discussing the issue with each other that I ended up waiting ten minutes before someone ever took my order. There must not have been a manager there or something because they were not being professional at all. There is a typical personality type that I repeatedly encounter at most of the fast food restaurants and convenience stores in Little Rock and It baffles me why hiring managers continue to hire people with bad attitudes and chips on their shoulders, thinking that this is somehow an acceptable idea of an employee. Read moreOrder via Uber Eats at 12:17am per the ticket...original estimated time was 12:34am for delivery to be received. We received our order after 1am because it took so long to make. Only the drive thru is open at this time. Recieved food only; a large bag with two Wreck it Ralph stickers shutting it at the top and ticket double stickered to the bag. Missing from order 2McDoubles, 1 McRib Ml-Lrg, L Fanta, 10 McNuggets, M Coke, chocolate milk, and 3 sweet and sours--also no napkins. Only received large and medium fries and the kids meal--fries, yogurt, and 4 nuggets. More than half the order which took forever to make was missing from "sealed bag". Upset a little on time but more over the order was practically all missing. Both UberEats and McDonalds were contacted. Still working with UberEats but when McDonalds was contacted manager never once apologized only excused it to short staff--fine for the 30 plus min wait, but really in all that time could not get the order correct. Just said they could do nothing just contact UberEats and hung up, no interest in ecspecting her staff to do better...so have part of the order refunded from UberEats with intentions on contacting them tomorrow. Reordered from 7200 W 12th St. (Minus the happy meal): Same Uber Driver, lol. This one took less than 30mins. All drinks, food, and sauce arrived as ordered--including no salt on one of the fries. Bag was sticked shut and drinks had the plastic on them. The driver with UberEats was considerate and apologetic.
It is not ok to brush off these orders. Especially when the bags are sealed. Wish there was more accountability.
