Here is what happened to us on 12/28/2014!! Do not eat here!!! This place does not deserve even a star with a manager like that! My rating is no stars!!!!!!

Your manager and greeters treated us like crap last night!!!! Here are the reasons why we wont be back there ever again!!!!! I will also be contacting your owner and corporate office about your establishment and how we got treated!!!!

I had called and said i had 14 people for tonight and she told me we only do call ahead seating and that was at 1pm that day. I said ok. We arrived with 11 people and a baby at 6:45pm which i had said we should be there at 7pm. One person from our group was there, then the five of us showed up and just a minute later then the rest of our family showed up with a baby for a total of 12 people. We stood in front of the door near the christmas tree.

We were first on the list on the seating. And given a seating device by the greeter. After i said right there i am mock i had call ahead seating i am right there on your list number #1. She said ok and handed me the device this was at 6:45pm.

They continued at the bottom of the page and seated several other big groups before us. Which the manager saw we were there already. The 2 greeters saw us there before them and so did that manager! He had saw us in front of the Christmas tree cause he had been up there several times and totally ignored us.

When another group complained and they had just got there and we had been there for 20 minutes before them. The table servers continued to seat other people.

When i went to complain i got told by your manager that they were before us. And did we want to sit separately. I told him NO a family gathering is not a siting separately thing.

Then the manager followed me to the front and told me we didn't call ahead. I said yes i did way before they did at 1pm and i was first on the list on your seating chart. All he said was we don't take reservations and only do call ahead seating. He told us that twice. Then he tried to say we were not there at the time we said i said yes we were. Every time i said i did call ahead at 1pm and i was first on your seating chart that your greeter showed me on her seating chart. He totally ignored everything i said. I said and this is the way you treat our family with a lady and baby in front of your door that called ahead. He continued to complain with us and i said you know what this is "bull" we are out of here and said we won't be back there ever again and you just lost our business. That was at 7:20pm when we all left.

My family and i are highly upset at the way the manager treated us and at no time were we apologized to our given a "I am sorry about this" from the manager and we will get you seated right now. He made no attempt to rectify the situation. He did not care about anything i told him about the situation. If this is the way your manager and staff behave you will lose alot more customers...

12 minute standing at front just to be acknowledged that we even walk in the door. But noticed that two employees were having a discussion at the back of the restaurant along with another employee visiting with whatever friends were sitting at a table. And once we did get a table it took forever for us to get drinks. That were not correct. Then it took forever for us to get food. I'm guessing that the waitress wanted to leave as she walked past to pick up anything that we may not want and removed my wife's drink from the table. my wife made the comment I hope she's bringing it back. It never came back. So later on my wife asked for water. Kid's drinks for empty. I still had food on my plate but she grabbed my plate to take it and I actually set my Fork down on the plate pushing down on the plate to keep her from taking it and saying I'm not done yet. I don't know what her issue was but would have liked a better server. Then again everybody that was walking around singing to have issues or problems. Even the manager. Food was not worth the stop. My wife agreed. Was our first time at any On the Border. Can't recommend this location. You may think I'm complaining but just called it as it happened. Work not happy at all with our visit. also as we walked up all of the tables that were sitting outside had food and beer bottles on them. It it rained about 30 minutes before and I guess Chase everybody inside. But nothing was clean outside. tree that was out front had an overwhelming smell. I think it might have been something like a citronella tree. But sitting outside would have been I think too strong of a smell. It would be like sitting over the top of a burning citronella candle. It may have been because of the rain I don't know I've never dealt with one of...

It has been a long time since I have had a top quality experience but last evening for dinner we dropped in to the On The Border on 11721 Chenab Parkway in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Hostess greeted us with a friendly smile and sincerely asked what could she do for us. I jokingly responded I wanted to sit where the best service was happening tonight. She sat us at a booth where we were greeted by Brian. Brian was on top of his game. Drinks never got empty, salsa never emptied or our basket of chips. He wasn’t hovering over our table but it was clear he took extra care to watch his tables. Not only taking care of our table but everyone around us. I found his service so outstanding I stopped to ask if I could speak to the manager to complain. My complaint was it has been a long time since I have experience great service anywhere. It was a pleasure dinning at their establishment. I hope if you are in this part of Little Rock you will stop in and ask for Brian. I am sure you will not be disappointed. Maybe somehow Brian’s way with his customers will find a way to senior management of On The Border so he could be recognized. I would bet Brian is just a part of a great team at this restaurant because I felt I had been dinning here for years. And finally to Brian, if you read this, Thank You for being a great server! It was clear you cared about your customers and their meals. I hope you have great success in the future and just wanted you to know WE completely enjoyed our time as...

Went at a peak time, so wait time was to be expected for seating, but once seated it became apparent they were short staffed. The chips came fast and fresh, and the yellow queso was delish, but it was downhill from there, unfortunately. The guacamole live was made from unripened avocados and disappointing, the refried beans were overly bacon grease flavored, the black beans tasted poured from a can, the chicken burrito was up charged $2 for grilled chicken(I was told about the up charge in advance), but was under seasoned and barely present in the burrito. Everything was under seasoned, or unseasoned, but it was indeed fresh. Would only return for a snack attack for chips, salsa, and queso.

Five Stars for On The Border! Every visit is a reminder of why this place is one of our all-time favorites. The white queso is consistently delicious—creamy, flavorful, and always hits the spot. Another standout is the chicken tortilla soup, which is absolutely amazing! The lunch specials are a great value—affordable without sacrificing quality or portion size. You leave full and satisfied every time. The staff is friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Special shoutout to manager Bethany Hall, who clearly leads by example. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor—stop by On The Border. You’ll be glad you did!

Ordered a Taco Salad that ACTUALLY was a salad with no chips/crunch. More lettuce than beef :/ Tasty but not good upon eyesight. The enchilada meal was great but the rice seemed to be UNDERcooked. Very hard upon tasting. I did use the complimentary chips as the crunch for my taco salad so I asked for another thing of chips and salsa. I don’t think the waiter liked it bc it was evident a whole bottle of salt was poured on top of chips. Customer service is great but food is NOT a 10/10 more of a 5/10. They pick and choose the customers they’d like to satisfy. Below are pics of the Taco Salad and Chips w salt
