Absolutely love this place! Two Sisters has been a longtime favorite of my family’s — we’ve enjoyed countless meals there over the years, and it always hits the spot. The food is consistently delicious, but let me be honest: it’s the cakes that truly steal the show. The German chocolate cake, in particular, is my all-time favorite. It’s moist, rich, and topped with the most heavenly coconut-pecan frosting — pure perfection in every bite.
After moving out of state a few years ago, one of the things I’ve missed the most is being able to stop by Two Sisters whenever I want. On a recent trip back home, I was so excited to grab a slice, but when I arrived on a Saturday, I was heartbroken to find the hours had changed. Since I couldn’t get my cake fix then, I asked my daughter to please, please stop by the Sherwood location and bring me a slice. She went, only to be told the German chocolate cake either wasn’t available or couldn’t be cut. Talk about disappointment!
Determined not to give up, I called the Little Rock location, and that’s when something truly special happened. Rene Coffman answered the phone, and after I explained what had happened, she went above and beyond to make sure I got a piece of that cake. Rene personally took care of it — no hesitation, no runaround — just genuine kindness. The way she treated me and my daughter was unmatched. I’ve never had someone I’ve never even met take care of me like that, as if I were a longtime friend.
My heart is so full of appreciation for Rene and the Two Sisters team. That small act of kindness meant the world to me. It wasn’t just about the cake — it was about being treated with such warmth and care. Two Sisters will always hold a special place in my heart, and thanks to people like Rene, it’s more than just a restaurant —...
Read moreMy order has been incorrect several times. I think my issue today was they got it wrong again and instead of calling us back to confirm it, they waited until we were there to pick it up and ask for confirmation. This is 20+ minutes after the call was initially done. We say the correction and instead of confirming how to cook it, they did what they wanted. When informed they got it wrong again, they took that already grilled chicken and fried it so it was now poorly fried and dripping. I attempted to eat it but it was now chewy and did not take good. I tried to then enjoy my pickle spear and it was completely soggy and smashed. My reason for the review is simply because they didn't seen to care that they made several mistakes and gave me a poorly textured chicken sandwhich. Their cakes are delicious but I primarily have lunch there and it just was not good today. Again, this is as a returning customer where they quite often get my order wrong and it has been literal months since I last went. Once they even gave away part of our order during a lunch rush. I didn't leave a review then either. I will try again in the future but not sure when at this point.
Edit 8/26/2025: Bumping it from 2 stars to 4. My last few orders have been perfect but it might be because I've had to mention I'm currently pregnant and it HAS to be right/safe. My tastes are not my own right now lol. They've asked no questions and try to accommodate my requests. Im leaving my original review above just so they hopefully don't do whay they did before to...
Read moreThis is the store recently opened in Little Rock located in a beautifully remodeled old house. The sandwiches and desserts are as fresh as you can ask. They serve breakfast and stay open until 6 P.M. I went during lunch time and they were quite busy in the kitchen turning out orders. It would be a good idea to call ahead if you are not going to eat in. They have a drive-up window. The dining room is open. I ordered my meal and was waiting on it in the store. One of the cooks came out and asked what I ordered because he noticed I had been there for a while. He made sure my order was coming up soon and asked if I wanted anything else while I was waiting. My club sandwich with chips were enough for two. The jalapeño chicken was great tasting and not real spicy. You will have to try the banana pudding to know how...
