I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bridges for their breakfast buffet, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience! 🌟 From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautifully decorated, setting the perfect tone for a morning meal. 🌅 But what truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service provided by my server, Tracie. Her attentiveness, warm demeanor, and genuine care for my dining experience were unparalleled. ❤️ She made sure every detail was perfect, from the coffee refills without having to ask ☕, to her knowledgeable recommendations from the buffet selection.
Speaking of the buffet, it was nothing short of spectacular! 🍽 Every dish was a delight to the senses, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. 🍰🥓 The variety was impressive, catering to all tastes and dietary needs, from fresh fruit and pastries 🍇🥐 to savory hot dishes. It was clear that Bridges prioritizes quality ingredients and skilled preparation in their cuisine. 🥑🍳
I left Bridges feeling thoroughly satisfied, not just by the delicious food, but by the whole experience. It’s rare to find a place that combines great dining with exceptional service so seamlessly. 👏 Tracie and the rest of the staff at Bridges have truly mastered the art of hospitality. I can’t wait to return and indulge in the breakfast buffet once again. 🎉 If you’re looking for an outstanding dining experience, Bridges should definitely be at the top of...
Read moreI was at this bar late night on April 9, 2024. I was indeed intoxicated already (my bad), though the bartender kept serving me. I got into an argument with some [redacted] of a customer who couldn't pronounce the name "Giovanni" (he was pronouncing as "Geeeee-oh-vah-nee" and making the risible claim that his Italian grandparents pronounced it that way). Normally I just bite my tongue when I see displays of ignorance, but drinking had lowered my inhibitions.
So of course I told him how wrong he was, and how wrong his grandparents are if they really did pronounce it that way. I probably cursed a bit too. What did didn't do was threaten anyone. I didn't break anything. I didn't punch or throw objects. I just insulted people. The children couldn't handle it.
The bartender could have just stayed out of it. He could have de-escalated things. What he did was take the poorly educated patron's side against me.
I can't swear to it because my memory is fragmented, but I'm pretty sure the bartender threatened me with violence. It is my belief that he did, but I could be wrong.
Regardless, he wasn't professional in how he handled the situation.
There is more to the story that doesn't have to do with Bridges, but what I really wanted to do was warn people about the possible unprofessional conduct of the staff at this bar.
The bartender was on duty late April 9, 2024 into April 10, 2024. When I get his name I'll add...
Read moreDreadful dining experience. I don’t know why I keep giving hotel restaurants chances. I ordered steak & frites, medium temp, which is a simple dish and simple cut of meat to cook. However, the steak was cut into chunks prior to cooking and appeared to have been boiled or fried. There were absolutely no visible traces of the steak touching a grill or cooking surface. The meat was just gray and still rare and cold at the center. There was no seasoning on it other than a sauce. I sent it back asking if they boiled their steaks. They took it away saying they would upgrade the steak. While this was a nice gesture, it takes longer to cook a filet than a flat iron. I was not surprised when they brought another series of gray, unseasoned chunks of filet with no cooking marks that was medium rare at best, but mostly rare and cold. They comped it and I left disgusted instead of full. Just get something that’s almost impossible to mess up like something fried...
