Visited the Littleton location around 4pm the 29th of January. We were seated promptly which, sad to say was the best part of the experience. There was a party of 4 that was departing as we arrived and three or four people at the bar. Otherwise it was empty. We ordered a 16” half pepperoni half cheese. I got up to use the restroom and when I went to wash my hands saw there were no paper towels available. I went back to my table and used my napkin to dry my hands as I see an employee exit the restroom and purposefully looked very closely at his hands and they were completely dry. Which would have been impossible if he had washed them in the bathroom. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he washed when he entered the kitchen. He came out 5-7 minutes later with the dough for our pizza. Thankfully with gloves on. He started making our order a full 10 minutes after it had been placed. And we received it in 18 minutes. For a coal fired 900+ degree oven it should take 90 seconds to 2 minutes to cook that pizza. And less than a minute to make it. And let me add I have been in the industry as a pizza maker, chef and GM for over 20 years. The waitress dropped the pizza off at the table and didn’t notice my drink was nearly empty. Which wouldn’t have been an issue if she checked in with us a few minutes after she delivered the food. But that was the last time we saw her until we had to call her over for our check 10 minutes after we’re done. $3.50 for a drink that I can’t get refilled even once is ridiculous. The prices are also unreasonable considering you can see the canned artichoke hearts and other canned items from the tables. The only other issue occurred when a second party arrived as we were eating and the waitress attempted to seat them at the table directly adjacent to ours in an empty restaurant. The guest had to suggest a better table as they wished to be out of the sunlight. The place has shades they can draw and should have done so to accommodate the new guests without trying to seat them right next to us. Sufficed to say we will not be returning to this location ever again and warn you against it unless you’re ok with mediocre pizza at a high price with horrible service.
Edit: Gave my email to the owner a week ago and have not heard from them yet. Evidently the owner has no regard for timeliness in both the management of his restaurant and the complaints that the lackadaisical attitude begets. I was hoping to start a correspondence with the owner to go over the blatant issues I saw and experienced. I will be contacting someone further up the chain in hopes that they have higher standards. Absolutely horrible experience in all aspects of Anthony’s Coal...
Read moreI was told by a number of people that if you love pizza, try Anthony’s at the Point in Littleton. I was not disappointed. I met Susan, the last of the original bartender’s. She was great. The pizza was thin and crispy, just the way I like it, Taylor Rowland, the General Manager, did not charge me for the pizza since it was Veteran’s Day, and I served in Vietnam. My experience here was great, service was prompt and the pizza was exceptional.

Met Brianna today, she was a delight. I had an individual pizza with sweet peppers, it was awesome. Brianna pointed out the advantages of joining the Coal Fired Club, and I did.

Visited Suzanne again at Anthony’s at the Point. Had a great small, well done, thin crusted pizza with extra sweet peppers. Suzanne is a very pleasant, thoughtful and efficient bar person. The pizza was very good, and the service provided by Suzanne was exceptional. I highly recommend Anthony’s.

Met Ashley today. She is the Assistant General Manager. She recognized me as a regular, and knew my drinking and dining preferences. Very professional and knowledgeable about her business, and proud of her company and it’s reputation. Ashley was exceptional and the meal was great!

Had a meatball appetizer served by Kiana that was outstanding! Although COVID-19 still remains to affect the appetite of some, the restaurants that adhere to strict safety rules and procedures are those that will survive the epidemic, and continue to maintain the confidence of the public. So many restaurant’s are lax in their procedures. And in doing so put the public at risk. Anthony’s on the other hand, has both strong leadership on top and in-store that place the public’s health and that of their employees above all else. Amanda, the in-store manager, Kiana my server, and Suzanne the bar keep we’re all part of my 5...
Read moreThe following review is for take out only. I have never eaten in the restaurant before, so please take that into consideration.
The first time I ordered from this place they screwed up my order. I figured I would give it another shot because, hey, we're all human right?
Tonight we ordered a cheese and one of their specialties. They got our order spot on (yay!). What I noticed on both occasions was the weight of their specialty pizza. For the 20 something we spent on it, it sure was pretty hefty. The toppings and flavor combination also was delicious.
The pizza dough itself however, was overworked (tough) and overstretched (that odd wrinkle around the crust line). Paying top price for a pizza, I expected someone who knew how to handle dough to be the one stretching it. The crust was also pretty burnt. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't by any means inedible, but I just expected better.
On to dessert, in my opinion, skip it. My wife had the cheese cake, which was pretty good. Whoever they're buying it from does a good job. The chocolate cake however was awful. The cake itself was hard and dry, the frosting was over sweet. Don't be tricked by the fancy Italian name, this is the same thing you get at the mom and pop pan pizza shops around.
I don't think we will be back here for take out. I'm a huge fan of coal and wood pizza ovens, but this place is too expensive for the finished product they're selling.
Again, this is all from a takeout perspective. There are many other factors that contribute to a great meal including service, ambiance, and drinks. I didn't have a chance to experience any of those factors, so this may still be a great place to dine at, but for take out I would reccomend...
