My wife and I were out with my in-laws. We decided to eat at BWW's to celebrate my sons birth on Dec. 10th.
We were seated within about 5 minutes of arriving. That was the only good part of this visit. After being seated I went to bathroom and was unable to use the facilities because someone filled the toilet with toilet paper and broke the plunger and put that in the toilet as well (amoung other problems). I left and mentioned the bathroom situation to the hostess, she said someone would get it taken care of. More on this later.
There were seven of us and we all ordered wings with water for our drinks with one of us getting a coke. We ordered around 9:30 pm and the first of our food came out around 10:30 pm. My father-in-law ordered an appetizer as AS A MEAL but it was brought out to him about 10-15 minutes ahead of the rest of our food (around 10:15 pm). When the rest of the food arrived the wings looked great. My wife even commented on how much sause was on the wings; it looked good. I tood the first bite and realized why they had so much sauce: the chicken was below room temperature, I assume from sitting so long somewhere cool, and instead of remaking the wings they just dipped them again in sauce hoping the sauce would warm the chicken back up. Didn't work. I was going to complain to the manager at this point but I decided "bite the bullet" and make the best of experience.
After I had finished eating I went again to use the bathroom. The toilet paper on the floor, in the stall, had been picked up. And the paper towels that over flowed the trash by the sink, though no longer over flowing, still remained full to the top. The toilet, however, was in the same condition: cloged with a mass of toilet paper topped with a broken plunger. At this point I decide to talk to a manager.
I go to the register where a manager was working with an employee on the register. I'm there for few minutes, no more than three feet away from both of them, with no acknowledegement that I was there. After a few minutes the employee told him he had a customer; still no acknowledgement. I put my hand on the counter, I'm clearly agitated at this point, and tell him that I can see that he is clearly too busy so I would be calling in tomorrow to talk to the General Manager. I instructed him to save the reciept for the table as my father-in-law insisted on paying and I would not have a reciept number. I return to our table . . .
The server comes over a few minutes later to have me explain what I has just told the manager. She said he didn't understand my instructions. I explained them again, and she drops a copy of the reciept in our diaper bag (she did this inconspicuously and now I have a copy of the reciept).
The service wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. The wait time was too long but if that was the only problem I wouldn't be giving them a bad review. This is a experience was a product of poor management. The problems started shortly after we arrived and contiuned though the hour an a half we spent at this BWWs.
I will call the GM in the morning and a copy of this is getting sent...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received on 8/28/2024 at 7pm at the Buffalo Wild Wings location in Live Oak at 7903 Pat Booker Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233 from a pregnant Hispanic Female manager. As a long-time customer, I have always enjoyed my experiences in the past, but my visit yesterday was exceptionally disappointing due to the behavior of one of your managers.
Upon entering the carryout area, I waited at the register for nearly five minutes before anyone came to assist me. While I was waiting, a gentleman and a woman walked up and stood next to me at the counter. I was surprised they didn’t wait behind me, as I was clearly there first. I politely mentioned that I was still waiting to order, and the gentleman acknowledged that he was there for pickup. However, they both continued to stand at the counter next to me.
When an employee finally approached, she looked at both of us and asked who was first. I stated that I needed to place an order for a 15-piece, and she began to assist me but abruptly stopped to ask the gentleman if he was there for a pickup. When he confirmed, she left to retrieve his order, then returned to the register to take my order.
At that point, I expressed my frustration, explaining that I had been waiting patiently for five minutes before the gentleman arrived, and my order should have been taken first. Rather than addressing my concern or explaining any policy or procedure, the employee responded rudely and loudly, saying, "You wanted a 15-piece?" without acknowledging my question. When I asked again about my concern, she dismissively responded, "Do you want to order or not?"
At that point, I was so frustrated by her attitude and lack of professionalism that I decided not to place my order and left the restaurant.
I have never been treated with such disrespect, and it appeared the employee was giving preferential treatment to the gentleman, which only exacerbated the situation. As a proud African American woman who has served in the United States Army for 34 years, I expect to be treated with the same respect and professionalism I extend to others, regardless of background. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional, and the lack of structure and customer service at this location is unacceptable.
I would appreciate it if someone from upper management or corporate could respond to this complaint and address the issue.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Dr....
Read moreDO NOT RECOMMEND! From start to finish, it was terrible. Typically, we go to a different location and have avoided this place due to the bad reviews, but we were in the area this day, so we figured we would give it a chance. We noticed that the parking lot wasn't too ful, so we figured itwouldn'tt be too busy (first red flag). We waited only a couple of minutes to be seated at a dirty table that the host wiped off in front of us. Never in my days of serving or eating out have I experienced this. Why wait just to go to a DIRTY TABLE?? Then, we started with a drink. I wanted an IPA, and my husband wanted an angry orchard. They didn't have my IPA, which was no big deal, I ordered a different one, however, they didn't have that one either. Turns out, they didn't have any IPAs, so I just ordered an angry orchard. Not a big deal. I double-checked with the manager when she brought my drink and asked if they were all out of IPAs. I explained that its not a big deal, I was just really looking forward to one and that im sure the server didn't get it wrong. She insisted that she would double check even after i said that it was okay. She never came back to tell me. Again, not a big deal, it's just the point of it. The angry orchard was definitely pumped with extra CO2 because they tasted nothing like they should. We drink them enough to know better. We ordered our food at the same time that we ordered our drinks. A table sat down next to us once we've been seated for about 15 minutes, however, they received their food first. By the time we got our food, the food was cold and missing sauce on the boneless wings. Im pretty sure they just let it sit in the window for a while and forgot about us. The server never came to check on us or offer silverware, so we asked one of the other workers who delivered our food. After waiting a good 10 minutes, my husband went to grab silverware from the front and saw the girl that he's asked for silverware from just standing in the kitchen with her arms crossed, just standing, not doing a thing. He comes back with plasticware! Plastic in a restaurant. After we were done, we sat around for a while until my husband went to the front to pay. We should not have to hunt our server down for service. We tipped because we've both worked in the food industry, BUT this place did not deserve any of our hard earned money. The dirty tables, the cold food, the bad service from everyone, and the terrible beer and lack of beer....
