This place is absolute heaven on earth. Ever since I discovered it three months ago, I’ve been coming at least once a week—I just can’t stay away. The lunch special is unbeatable: under $22 for unlimited sushi, with way more variety than any other spot in town. Honestly, this restaurant puts every other unlimited sushi place to shame. The specialty cocktails lean a little fruity for my taste, but the full bar more than makes up for it. I usually go for a Mezcal margarita, and it never disappoints. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I even hosted a surprise birthday party here for my best friend. While there was a hiccup with the reservation, the staff handled it quickly and graciously, even giving me a gift card for the trouble. That kind of customer service is rare. If they ever offered a referral program, I’d be at the top of the leaderboard—I’ve already introduced so many friends, and I’ll keep bringing more. This place is a gem.

I went to celebrate my child's birthday for the first time today. The atmosphere was gorgeous and beautiful, and the food was really delicious. I think it's going to make me forget about Kobe Sushi Buffet, lol. Pricey little more than Kobe; however, the food is very delicious! I can't complain, and there is so much more food than Kobe. This is worth it! I enjoy watching the 2024 Olympics on both indoor and outdoor TVs, even without sound. It would be helpful to have closed captions especially for the deaf. HIGHLIGHT:I just want to give a big shout out to Gabe, the waiter who took exceptional care of me and my family, especially considering I am deaf. I showed him the menu and he understood everything I wanted. Even when another waitress brought our food and I couldn't hear her, Gabe knew who ordered each dish. He even told me which sushi was which, making the whole experience much easier for me. Thanks so much to him!

We visited Umiya, the new Sushi and Hibachi restaurant in Live Oak and we really enjoyed it. They offer an all-you-can-eat dinner for $31.95. Their Strawberry Green Tea is so good. I definitely recommend it. For appetizers, we had egg rolls and cream puffs, both of which were good. For my main course, I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi with noodles. The steak was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the shrimp was equally tasty. Their noodles and rice are mixed with a protein. My daughter opted for steak, while I went with shrimp. The steak they mixed was on the smaller side as seen in the pic but still satisfying. My husband and daughter enjoyed their sushi rolls. For dessert, my husband tried the tempura banana, but unfortunately, that one didn't hit the mark for him. Everything else we tried was great. We'll definitely be back. They're next to TX Roadhouse off Pat Booker Rd.

The main option for enjoying this restaurant is by taking advantage of their All You Can Eat option. Though they do also have lunch and dinner specials and ala carte menus. It's about $22 per person and is a pretty large selection to choose from. Multiple appetizers, sides, soups, and salads. You order for yourself, and the portions are very small. For example, crab puffs are 2 per order. Calamari was 5 good-sized rings per order. And you just keep ordering until you are stuffed to the gills. Then there are the rolls. There are so many rolls to choose from. These are full-size rolls, and the combinations are so varied and interesting. We tried things we had never heard of before. There was one roll, I think, called the paradise roll with banana in it. It was so surprisingly good. But my favorites were actually 2 tempura chicken rolls, but the name eludes me for one, and the other was chicken crispy roll, I think. Both were amazing. And their tempura shrimp were the best I've had in a long time. Please save room for 2 tempura fried oreos. They were incredible. The last best thing I had there was a non alcoholic drink from the bar. It was a strawberry tea, and it was heaven. Sweet but not too sweet. The service was excellent and the price was great for how much we ate. I hope I can get...

If you are military or a veteran please don’t come here!!! Retire Marine family went here for the first time/last time and was treated let untrustworthy people! We asked if they do military discount when we asked for the check. The waiter said yes we do but may I see your ID card. I showed my retired ID, he said thank you. He went to the manager to get the discount adjusted on the check. The manager look over at me and shook her head like she didn’t believe him. He came back telling me that the manager wanted to see my military ID card. I gave him my military ID card and he comes back saying that the manager will only give a discount to the card holder. The waiter said this was a first and I’m sorry about this because normally we do discounts towards the whole bill! I asked him was there a barcode I can scan or something to give a review. He replied no Sir just go to the website or yelp to make a review. He took my credit card and came back with the bill saying the manager decided to discount the whole bill. I was station on Okinawa Japan for 8 years, and this was far from the real thing! The sushi was ok but not great! The waiter did a decent job so I left...

We arrived around 3:30pm greeted and was seated, our waiter handed us the lunch AYCE menu then we ordered and he also told us that in about couple of minutes its going to transition into dinner time menu and confidently told us we can otder from the dinner menu and will still pay the lunch price. We were able to order a couple of items from the dinner menu as we were already a bit full from the lunch items we got.

When we got our check was surprised that we were charged the dinner price for all of us. Called our waiter’s attention and told him about the dinner price that was charged. He took the check and when he came back he said that his boss cant change the charge as we came almost dinner time. Our waiter was nice and apologized stating that it was on him. We were all tired and didn’t want to argue anymore. Just paid and left. But felt very frustrated about the transparency and there was no consideration. Food was good but we liked it better on their I10 location. There were flies flying around the table. For this bad experience I would give them 1...
