Iām a DD regular (3x week) tho not this location necessarily. That said, Iām here at this location about twice a month, and yes, there have been times aside from Veterans Day the other day where theyāre out of donuts, but itās like once or twice in a year, not as often as these reviews make it seem. Note, Iām usually coming by between 10am and like 4pm as well.
I donāt notice higher prices or bad service; up til recently this location was better than Bulverde which is closer to me, but finally Bulverde is mostly on par with the service at this store as well as my regular location, so again, not sure the complaints?!
Amanda the manager was super kind to help me out - the other day on Veterans Day I ordered a sandwhich, hash browns, two coffees, a donut, and had planned to also get my Vet her free donut. I ordered and paid in the app. When we got to the store we saw no donuts left and there was some confusion at the window as to how/when the donuts Iād paid for, at least, would/could be replaced. Because it took some time working all that out (not with Amanda but some young girl at the window, who was nice - she even had dog treats for my dogs!), she and I totally forgot about giving me my sandwich and hash browns altho we did get our coffees. I realized this about two miles down the road but given the extra heavy traffic for Veterans Day, I called the store to see if they could hold my stuff til hours on end and Amanda mentioned normally with mobile orders she doesnāt replace but that if I wanted to come another day soon, sheād go ahead and replace it then.
I SO VERY MUCH appreciate that, and canāt wait to go get my order later today (11/13). Iām sure service will be great. Yāall have to give people a chance and hey! When something IS wrong about your order, you have to keep a positive attitude because abuse of service workers is likely the number one reason customer service everywhere seems to nosedive, not to mention post-COVID the whole world is stressed. Iām sure if yāall can stay positive and chill a minute, your service issues will be worked out. As for production, most DD donāt make their donuts on site. They also donāt handle that my app NEVVVVER shows me EVVVVER that āchocolate frostedā isnāt a thing when we all know it is, or that my app only tells me about half the time when any of the stores are out of ie a donut flavor or mocha syrup (the only one Iāll put in my coffee), etc, but disappointments happen! Grow up and get off the caffeine addiction issues before you go trashing your DD workers; theyāre human...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am very disappointed in Dunkin and how they react to an accident. I went on Tuesday morning for a hot tea, breakfast and other drinks. Well the employees were rushing and being careless didn't place the lid correctly on my large hot tea. The lid came off and the hot tea poured all over my legs, stomach and hand. I had shorts and a tank on. So I didn't have much coverage the hot tea burned me all over I have burns on my skin. I had to park and get out of the car cause it was a continuous burning sensation on my inner thighs. I hadn't gotten all of my order so I sent my wife into the store. How screwed up is it that no one came out to check on me. No one asked if I was ok. No one apologized for what happened. The "manager" finally came out after my wife Went inside to get our order. The manager made a "report" but was very insincere the only thing he could do for me was refund a few bucks and give me burn ointment and didn't tell me anything after that. He just stood there on his cell phone. I was literally crying from being in pain. And he just stood there. I asked if someone was going to contact me. He stated yes while still looking at his phone. I did get a phone call I wasn't available my wife took the call it was a "manager" calling to check on me. My wife told the manager I was in pain and he stated it's "JUST A SURFACE BURN and it happens all the time" Just a surface burn!? Seriously! It's been a few days and I'm still in pain. Burns don't just go away. Especially when one has sensitive skin, which I have. I tried to call the manager back that same day.. I'm still waiting for a call back. The fact that I go to Dunkin multiple times a week the employees know me I would figure they would be more concerned but obviously they just went on about their day like nothing happened cause it happens all the time. This is not going to be the last they hear from me. This is not ok. I have pictures and I have burn...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have gone to this location quite a few times within the last 2 months. They are constantly running out of things - cold foam, almond milk etc. Today though 5.26.21 - chaos in full affect. I walked in about 650am or so - I didn't get my coffee till 720am!! I understand being busy and it can be at that time in the morning. What I don't understand is 3 people working on mobile orders, not taking orders from people waiting in line inside and not making orders for those who are waiting inside for 30 mins. I had to ask to have my coffee made twice and on top of that when I did get my coffee it was wrong. I am allergic to dairy - and my coffee was made with milk not with almond milk like I had ordered and even said when I asked to have my coffee made. Between this location not knowing how to keep things in stock and the chaos when it gets busy - I think I will skip this location and possibly drive out of my way if I really want their coffee. If you want to see chaos - this is your location to visit! I will say when they can make it and make it right - it...
