Pay close attention to your money. The owner and his son steel from their own customers. this happened to me twice. The first time I stopped in to get a dinner order to go. The owner himself hands me the lunch menu on purpose then when it’s time to pay the bill, I was charged the dinner price. I questioned it and he admitted he had given me the lunch menu. ( I was being manipulated) I paid with a credit card, but did not zero out the tip on the receipt so the owner helped himself to an $8.00 tip without my authorization. I was furious When I found out and I flew back down there and got my money back. The second time it happened I picked up two orders to go and paid cash with $100 bill. The son of the owner did not count the change back and purposely kept 10 bucks. I counted it when I left and I flew back in there and confronted him. He was so guilty. He said “Oh, I don’t know what I was thinking”. Who says that when they make an honest mistake? I called the owner and confronted him about the $10 and he is the one that told me that was his son. I can’t even believe these jerks steel from their own customers the very people that keep their doors open. I have not returned since then. Whenever I drive by or walk by and I see people dining outside I say.” watch your bill the owner likes to steel from his customers. So unbelievable, that the owner and his son steel intentionally steal from their own customers. Karma will get them if it hasn’t already. Again, if you eat here, watch...
Read moreWriting an update….not a good one. Tried dining in and it was 3:00 and they had a special menu. We were the ONLY people there and asked if we could order a cheese pizza due to an allergy issue(no pizza in special menu). We know that food item is the only safe one for him at Bruno’s. The waitress was exceptional and tried to work with the allergy. She was yelled at and ridiculed and put down by the manager to the point she cried and he kept going. Over and over. Then proceeded later to tell everyone probably ten times in a row NO PIZZA, NO PIZZA, etc. like a child….a man who can treat women that way, will not get business long. This is Livermore and not SF or LA fine dining. It’s a close knit town and everyone knows each other! You are going to lose so much business for being so hateful to women. Sorry we gave another chance. He’s mean and unhappy. Probably needs to choose another line of work.
I love the waitstaff. I enjoy the food. However, I doordashed a pizza and was surprised to see it wasn’t sealed by a sticker or anything and so I called to ask if they just didn’t do that or if it was a mistake being that every other pizza in town is sealed when we dash. The manager that I spoke to was smug and rude and acted bothered by my question. Shame. We won’t go back after enjoying this place...
Read moreWhile I traveled to Livermore at 2019, Bruno’s was the first restaurant where my boyfriend and I spent time and had dinner.
Their pizza and pasta are very delicious, and the taste of their bread was so good that I remember that 👍🏽😋
And we were just got married in this January, looking for a place enjoy the food and celebrate, there’s no outdoor dining at the moment, so we’re ordered takeout celebrated at home. My husband asked for the bread on ordering phone call notice that we love it, then he brought back lots of extra bread 🍞 😆 I ate them all, no kidding ~
A week ago outdoor dining reopening, we were walking around on first street, we naturally stopped in front of Bruno’s and both had our new favor dish salad “Baby Mixed Greens”, and Pepperoni Pizza, enjoy a wonderful meal and afternoon. Of course, be aware of and stay safe from COVID.
Their service is very friendly and nice, the foods are delicious, and we’re worried a bit about their business since Covid-19, we hope everything will getting better soon.
