Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Livonia

If I could give zero stars, then I would. I visited the store and ordered two subs via the drive-thru. I always check them before I leave the parking lot because I’ve been burned by this location so many times. I opened my sub and there was a hair on it as well as mayo which I asked them to not put on it. I took it back and they re-made it. I got back to my car and they put mayo on it again. I checked the other sandwich I ordered and it also had mayo on it (which I had asked them to hold off as well). I brought the sandwiches inside and asked them to remake them. Worker told me that the initial one didn’t have any mayo on it. I asked her to explain what the white condiment was and she said “I don’t know, but it’s not mayo”. I asked for my money back and was laughed at as I walked out. I emailed corporate and they mailed me a $20 gift card and told me that the owner would be reaching out. I never heard from any one from the franchise and Emma (from corporate) said that the situation was handled in the store. Not sure how they can deem it “handled” when the customer wasn’t given what they were promised. Safe to say I will not be back to this location and I’ll be sure to spread that to any one and everyone I know... unless of course they enjoy hair on their sandwiches and...

Went there for the second time. When my daughter and I walked in, the young woman at the cash register asked if she could help her. We were the only ones in line. I stated that we needed a minute to look at the menu. A man walked in behind us, and promptly ordered his food. The cash register genius stated to him: "I like people like you who know what they want when they come in."

My daughter and I looked at each other in disbelief. We were talking about this incident as we arrived at the sandwich pickup location, which apparently displeased that employee, who after wrapping our sandwiches slammed them onto the counter. When I talked to Xavier, the reported "manager," he didn't seemed concerned about it in the least.

I guess we were expected to study a Jimmy John's menu and decide on our choices before we entered the store. Guess Jimmy John's employees aren't only rude to police officers. I have been to over 5 different Jimmy Johns in the state of Michigan, the one on Middle belt Rd in Livonia lives up to its name. The staff is on their purpose and friendly, I do not know how they manage the crazy orders without hindering their quality, it just gets better every time I go there. To say this is an exceptional cold cut sandwich is an understatement, the Jersey Mike's next door need to shut down. This Jimmy John's' perfectly sliced veggies are fresher than home, the incredible bread(I can eat it by itself) , not to mention the correct amount of ratio and placements of the spreads is mind blowing, and to stay consistent every encounter I get to have with them.
