Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Livonia

Typically in my book, most Starbucks locations are just that, a Starbucks. This location is no different. I have only ever visited the drive thru here, and that along with the way the parking lot is set up is the reason why I can only give this particular location three stars. You should expect a usual wait time of around 15-20 minutes—which I find ridiculous, but this is the only stand alone Starbucks within a few miles, so it seems to attract everyone in the immediate area. The main problem with the size of the drive thru line, and the wait times are that the parking lot is absolutely not designed for more than a few cars to be waiting in a line. If the line gets too long, you are likely to be blocking off parking spots that may or may not already have cars in them, etc. I've stopped here at several different times, on different days and there never really seems to be a rhyme or reason as to why it's a busy as it is or why the line is so long. It's completely random if you ask me.

Other than the drive thru mishap and the long waits, this location is everything I expect from a usual Starbucks location I would visit. The staff is friendly, and the order accuracy is on point—I myself, have never had anything I've ordered made incorrectly or anything like that.

When all is said and done. If you're stopping here for a cup of joe, just simply expect to wait longer than normal (if you are going through the drive thru). It...

I ordered through the app. I waited in drive-thru for 15 minutes until I got to the speaker only to be told that if my order isn't ready when I get to the window, I'll need to come in. 10more minutes until I got to the window and was told I had to come in. I stated I am handicap hence why I placed a mobile order to begin with? I was told they were behind. Okay, may I just have a refund? The manager came to the window happy to give a refund. I asked if your cashier informed you why I requested a refund? The manager stated she told her that I didn't want to come in for my order. I said NO. Bc I can't come in. I was in an accident, and it's hard to walk. The manager said I can have someone bring it to you in 5 minutes. I said okay 👍 so I went to park in front of the door. I waited 15 minutes and watched people walk in and out of the location. I then got out and went in to the counter. After standing there in pain so that I can speak to someone, a barista walks to me and asks, is this my order she was holding? I turned to her and answered yes. She apologized for the wait. I said okay, and thank you and walked out. I was the only African American when I walked in there and noticed when people were walking in and out getting their orders left and right with no problem. There were also no other minority people working there either. I believe this was discrimination, and I will never return to...

I tried calling the store to speak to a manager so I wouldn't have to leave a review and embarrass someone but since no one answered the phone - now you get this. We came in 8/12/25 about 6 pm ish. No one greeted my daughter and I. Waited and waited at the counter. 3 employees working and not a one of them would look at us. 2 women and one man working there. Noticed a steady stream of cars moving in the drive thru as we stood and waited. I finally got a hold of the tall, medium-built older lady with dark hair, glasses and red lipstick and said to her "would it be better if we left and went to drive thru or could you take our order" she was rude and flip and said " I suppose I could take your order" like we inconvenienced HER day. We didn't get a receipt, took forever to get our drinks, she left mine in the drive thru area to melt and then had to look for it later when it wasn't with the rest of our order. RUDE AND UNRESPONSIVE TIRED LADY - YOU UNHAPPY - I'M SORRY but I spent my entire day working too, our lives aren't perfect either and MY time with my daughter is valuable to me - and you sucked the life out of a simple let's get some coffee moment. AND MY DAUGHTER'S DRINK WAS AVERAGE and my drink made me really sick not more than 30 minutes after I drank it. Was something unclean or spoiled? I hope...
