Used to order from here all the time. It’s sad your employees don’t know how to treat customers.
Called to place an order and also to confirm they were still accepting orders. Was warmly greeted with "Papa Joes, hold". I held for 7 minutes. Some girl finally got on the phone and said "Hello, were no longer accepting orders tonight". I asked her if she was joking and she said no. I told her she could have not wasted my time and told me right when I called. She sarcastically replied that "sorry I was busy finishing something that's why I put you on hold"
I told her we order from there all the time and asked for her name as I wanted to call the next day. She put me BACK ON HOLD and then said "I talked to the cook and we can still accept your order but cannot do any pizza or chicken" IS THIS A JOKE? I asked for her name one last time and SHE PUT ME ON HOLD AGAIN. Then some guy Jerry got on the phone who by the way has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and says they can now take my order but it can't be a stuffed pizza or chicken. I told him I just wanted their names to call back and speak to the owner as this was ridiculous. His reply was "ok, are you going to order?"
I understand it was late but give me a break this was pathetic. Whoever I spoke to I pray you never work in customer service again as you are both horrible and a terrible representation of good business. Why am I so upset about this? Because you wasted my time and treated me like an idiot because you're lazy. Plenty of other pizza places in town that are...
Read moreJust the perfect restaurant. Nice people nice atmosphere. Good prices and the food is the best Italian I've had in recent memory. Olive garden will cost more and you will get less food lesser quality food and I like olive garden but this place is the best you won't be sorry. I always leave there with a full stomach and relaxed and happy. Can't ask for more than that! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, This was my original review . We were regulars there after this review . A few times it started getting real loud with big groups. I like to relax when I'm out to eat.i think the time before last was about six months ago or so.. we went for dinner food was great atmosphere not great they had a large group tables pushed together. Parents let kids run around jumping n dancing and yelling I had enough . Decided to give it one more try today March first 2025. It was busy they sat us at a table directly in front of the exit /entrance doors . There was room to put tables by the windows but no right in front of the doors it's freezing out every time door opened rush of cold air blowing up my back.ok bad enough my wife ordered walleye with a butter sauce.it was walleye n fettuccine noodles in fish water just disgusting. A guy bringing out food in a flannel shirt .ok . My soda glass was dirty I mean it's clear glass and it looked white with spots and crud. It's such a shame I really loved eating...
Read moreThis is the former Diamonds restaurant in Lock Port, but it has changed hands and has a little different format. Bye-bye sports bar, hello family style restaurant. They are under new ownership with quite the remodel. An upgrade for sure. Clean, casual, simple, yet elegantly done. Very suitable for larger groups or for that quaint date night out. Aside from the warm atmosphere and the pleasing to the eye esthetics, this menu has more than your average fare of Italian cuisine. We had the calamari for starters and the Papa Joes Special pizza. Both turned out to be excellent choices. Good flavor and sizeable portions. Also they have this nice, full size bar with plenty of beers on tap for those that like a beer in a glass, like myself. Service was friendly, attentive and above average. These days, service is key in my book and could almost be a deal breaker, regardless of the quality of food that is served. Can't wait to go back and try out the others tastes, flavors and smells that this establishment has to offer. It has the potential of becoming one of my faves. To be...
