This is an update from my previous review. I am changing from 4 stars to 1 star...I wish 0 was an option. So, I have visited this establishment 3 times in the last 2 weeks. All three times, I left empty-handed. Although the posted closing time is 10pm, I went through the drive-thru at 9:40 one night because I had a craving for fried chicken and I was simply ignored in the drive - thru line along with two other vehicles. Another night, I sent my husband at 9:15 because I still had the craving and he informed me that the employees actually looked at him, but he was not able to order anything because again, he was simply ignored (this was all during the week of the 12th and19th of July). Today, July 24th, I tried again at 5:35 pm and I was informed in the drive-thru line that no chicken was available...at least not enough for an eight piece. This is prime time dinner traffic and the chicken is not ready? I was informed there would be a 20 minute wait. I politely said no thank you and left. I will NEVER return again. 1. Why post hours of operation that you do not adhere to? This is clearly not a credible establishment. You just change the hours of operation on a whim or because you want to close early? 2. The employees are either untrained properly or are simply apathetic. In either case, this is a serious problem either from the management perspective or the owner/ franchise perspective. What type of organization is this? If you cannot follow the posted hours of operation in your OWN restaurant and hire well-trained employees who can execute, you should shutter the organization either temporarily to retrain and/or rehire or close permanently. To say I'm appalled cannot sufficiently describe my sentiments about the Bojangles in Locust Grove. I now drive to the Bojangles on...
Read moreHorrible experience. Cashier didn't know how to run the register or count money. My receipt said I gave her $60 but I gave her $6. She owed me .41 cents back and just stood there and stared. I told her what she owed me back (.41). She plays around in the cash drawer and gave me .57cents. at that point I really didn't care. Then she went to the back and started preparing my food and left my friend and 3 other customers standing there. The 3 others finally walked out. She came back to me and asked for my receipt so she could see what I ordered. It was almost comical. Another woman from the back came out with flour all over her shirt, saw my friend standing there and asked if she had been helped and finally rang her order up. It gets worse, the orig. cashier never went back to the register but started sweeping the floor. I watched one woman come in and was never waited on and left then a man came in and waited. The man finally said "I guess I will have to go to the drive through to place an order. When my friend and I finished eating and walked to our car the cars were wrapped around the building trying to be serviced at the drive through. The man who left inside because of no service was still in the car line and we watched him pull out and leave without getting food. Does this place have a manager?? If so, he or she needs training. This was rediculous!! I will NEVER go there again.😠 By the way, the cashier was still sweeping the floor when we left and no one was working...
Read moreMy experience at this place was absolutely horrible. The staff was not friendly on 7/19/19 at or around 7:30pm . I placed my order at the drive-thru. Pulled to the window and paid for my food then was told it would be 13 minutes on fresh chicken. The young man who took my card and gave me my drinks told me to pull up. He didn’t give me a receipt. I waited 20 minutes and decided to go in to check on my order. The manager said she didn’t have an order for me.....She asked for my receipt, well I was not given one. She finally pulled up my receipt and with an attitude as if it was my fault. She put my food together and the dark meat chicken was fresh but the breast that I paid the extra $1 for was old and had so much batter on it until I couldn’t eat it.
The leadership of the building sets the tone for the team. This showed poor leadership from the leadership and the team members saw it. That’s a recipe for non repeat guest traffic. We don’t have to spend our money where we are treated in this manner. I hope someone at a higher level see this comment and come to have a teachable moment. She doesn’t need to be fired but she need to know how right a wrong that was the...
