This place had a good rating is the reason I chose this place but the only good thing I can day about this place is Location.we had an easy quick check in and the A/C worked wonderful in the room. But there was NO A/C in the hall way. Which is not good for a person with COPD The room was not clean, the mirrors were so bad that I could barely see anything in them (cheap cleaner I'm going to say) the mirror in the bathroom was ok. There was what looked like either fly or Roach poop on the walls in the corners of the bathroom. The toilet I believe was not bolted down or very loose, when either one of us sat down in it it wobbled and then slap against the wall. The refrigerator was set on the highest temp but was barely cool. It was very obvious that nothing was wiped off after the previous people left because there was what looked like cat or dog hair all over the bottom cabinet where the ice bucket sat. Human hair on top of the lamps in between the 2 beds perfectly noticeable or all of it. The table between the beds was dirty from where the last people had cups sitting there it had rings where the cups sat and must've sweated on the table. The bathroom door was broken on the track like someone had slammed it real hard and busted the track and the stopper. The front door was badly messed up when we first went in the door was so hard to push open that I couldn't get it open, my husband had to push it open. He looked at the door to see why it was so hard to open well the door frame had been busted at one time apparently and was pieced back together.when opening it would drop down on the opposite side causing it to jam and also stopped it from closing properly when going out we had to pull the handle real hard before it would lock.we had to push it real hard to get it to shut all the way to lock. Lastly the people directly above us must've had kids that was constantly running back and forth, that's all we heard until about 10pm but it started back at about 6am. This place was a very big disappointment. The next morning 1 hour n 10 mins before breakfast was over I wanted to have a waffle the waffle irons were still on but I couldn't find the batter so I went to the front desk to ask the young lady and she tried to find it as well but couldn't she said the lady over breakfast stepped out for a minute. When she came back in the young lady told her I was looking for it and the lady said something to her ( I couldn't hear them) so when the lady over breakfast started walking around looking at tables never said a word finally when she came back I asked about the waffle batter and she said that she was out and continued to the back room. I did get some eggs and toast . It was all just unpleasant. We live almost in Alabama in West Georgia, my mother in-law lives in the locust grove area we go visit about every 3 months and wanted to stay somewhere different this time and a little cheaper in price but next time I'll pay the extra 50 and go back to the LaQuinta.

July 2024 Management claims in review replies that they'll improve and dish out empty apologies. This last stay will be the last time. Rooms are dirty and need TLC. Too many other hotels nearby to choose this one. I have stayed at this location multiple times, throughout 2019 - 2022, glad to see improvement after covid closures. The location is a bit hidden and maybe it qas just tue google map instructions that complicated it even more, I'm unsure. I'm a diamond member and typically use the app for check in, key and check out, however at this location even after checking in, i was unable to get room key. Turns out that the room i booked was unavailable after i checked in - needed a room with 2 queens as i reserved yet only a king room w/ sofa-bed was available. The girl who checked me in, was a bit annoyed at my late arrival and claimed to be giving me a free upgrade on the room - i didn't find it worth my time to correct her on her own employers policy. The next day again i was unable to check out on app, so i had to visit front desk and lucky that i did - i was overcharged and the manager caught it when checking me out and refunded me. The king room had a lot of cobwebs on the corner of walls/ceilings. The sofa-bed bedding was missing and i didn't want to wait for the sheets and such so all 4 of us sandwiched into the king bed for night. The bath & wash towels were stained, the toilet paper holder was so loose the papee kept falling out, the shower's bathfitter was cracked, the chamomile honey soap was super dry and rough. I hope management seea this and asks the housekeeping to pay more attention to cleanliness of rooms and towels.

When we first checked in, we did not sleep well at all. The person above us walked inside their room from 9pm-4:50am. We asked to be moved the next day but were told that the all rooms were sold out. We dealt with that for the next two days. We were moved on the third day. The first day we checked into our second room, the shower was dirty BEFORE we could use it, we told the two front desk employees about it on the way out and they said, "We'll get someone up right away to clean the shower". When we got back later that evening, there was a different front desk employee (Buford). I told him the situation before going to the room and Buford said, "If it's still dirty when you go up, call me and I'll clean it myself". When I got to the room, the shower had NOT been cleaned, I called Buford and he came up and he cleaned it. The next morning when we awoke, we started to make up the bed and noticed almost the entire mattress cover was stained with blood and we don't know what else. We were so disgusted. I checked out as soon as I could. The food or lack of food (continental breakfast) was awful. I will say that Buford was very help, friendly and nice. But overall, I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.

Absolutely would not recommend booking this hotel! My family and I came here for Labor Day and what started out as a fun filled Labor Day with family turned into a absolute nightmare.

We booked this place and was assigned room 210 for 1 day, Sept 4th checking in at 3pm and checking out Sept 5th at 11am. After being here only a few hours, Locust Grove Police showed up because another guest was assigned the same room and entered the room while one of my room occupants was sleeping, yes they had a keycard. How dangerous. Locust Grove PD said that the occupant in my room- Room 210- had to LEAVE the property because it was “trespassing” and the occupant was “not authorized” to be on the property. Said that the room belonged to someone else!
the police proceeded to escort the occupant of my room OFF the property
. Despite me having a booking confirmation and proof of purchase, my AMEX Hilton Honors receipt. This experience was Absolutely horrendous! Very vile and degrading! Humiliating and disheartening! Especially when you've paid your hard earned money to patronize their establishment. I'm a Hilton Hilton Honors member and yet my family and I was treated very poorly! And I used a team member rate so the property owner refused to accommodate us because of this. Also stated that I violated Hiltons code of conduct for leaving a negative public review. Just disgusting all around. If this had been a Caucasian individual in Locust Grove, in this uppity area, which I also RESIDE in, this would've been remedied immediately and more fairly. Upon finding out the circumstances that led to my room occupant being escorted off the property, when my husband and I went to the front desk, we werent offered another room! We weren’t even offered a refund. I wasn't extended an apology! Nothing! So I asked for a REFUND.
However, we were told to LEAVE THE PROPERTY and advised that someone would GET BACK WITH US TOMORROW.
How disgusting! What do you mean tomorrow?? When this happened today?? This is not just. This is not right. This is egregious and should've never happened! How did you not know the room was already assigned and in use? Giving another patron a key card to a room that my guest was in is a safety hazard and it could’ve went left, thank God it didn’t. Why didn’t management give the new family a different room after seeing that it was occupied? How did this even happen?? We were left with no answers because upper management wasn’t available to remedy the situation nor speak with us. Upper management failed us! The
General manager failed us! Hilton failed us!
The staff had absolutely no remorse whatsoever! Given the nature of the matter, you would think someone from upper management would handle this with a sense of urgency. However, a day later was when we was contacted. The GM was condescending and nasty. Alot of back and forth and no accountability. Days later when I contacted Hilton corporate, they responded with a apology but stated that Hilton code of conduct was violated because I was on a team member discount and posted a negative review to a public forum so they couldn’t do anything further. Please refrain from booking here unless you want to be belittled and discarded. It could happen to you. And to make matters worse- the GM responded to my public review on another platform and called me a “disgruntled employee family member” when I have not now nor have I ever had a family member employed at his hotel. Once I sent the screenshot to corporate, the review was modified....

I am extremely disappointed after just checking into this hotel tonight (Saturday 10/12/24). I am so upset that I am literally writing this review as I sit in this hotel room. I have stayed at several Hampton Inns in the past and it has always been good, clean quality -until now. I walked off the elevator on the 3rd floor and was immediately taken-back by the foull odor. I then walked into the room we were assigned (315) and was immediately struck by the poor condition. Both beds looked like they had either been slept in or, the pillow cases came out of the dryer wadded up and horribly wrinkled. The beds were “made” but, I was not about to get in those beds! I took pictures and immediately went back to the front desk. I asked the clerk if the photos looked normal to her. She apologized multiple times and offered to switch our room with another one on the 2nd floor. I asked for a manager but the clerk said the manager was not available or on duty until Monday. She said she could not offer a refund or credit because she did not have the authority. I had only been at the hotel for about 15 minutes at this point. I wanted to leave immediately but, my husband was feeling ill and he had just drove for six hours. He was very tired. I also was very tired and did not need the stress and hassle from this hotel. For my husband’s sake, I went to look at the other room (207) and sadly, it was only slightly better. The pillow cases were at least pressed but, the bedding overall was the same, just so below standard that I have ever seen at a Hampton Inn before. It was no more welcoming than the first room. Hampton Inns have been my go-to hotel for years. However, I have just learned a very valuable lesson. Not all Hampton Inns are the same when it comes to quality. This place is...
