Regarding the new Papa John’s in Locust Grove:
The other night, I asked for an extra large philly steak pizza (paid $2.00 extra) and a large barbecue bacon pizza with pineapple on it. Plus some other extra stuff.
When the large philly steak pizza arrived, it was mostly CRUST and probably only about 2 inches of actual pizza. I called and talked to the shift leader, Jordan, and she put in a guarantee for two pizzas (the same as what I ordered) due to the mishap. She explained that it was the new dough that they were using. Ok. Satisfied.
Rock on and we tried to order pizza this past Sunday and Jordan said that they only had one driver and it would take two hours to get the pizza delivered and one hour for carry out. So we decided to wait another day. No prob. Pandemic. Short handed. I understand. Well today is Wednesday Dec.8 and so we decided to try again. I called and Jordan was not there and they said that they could not honor my guarantee because she wasn’t there and so I asked them to call her. The girl who answered said she would and hangs up on me. I wait 5 minutes and call back. Then there’s a new shift leader that answers and he’s going to talk about how he just now started and he don’t know if he can honor it and can I call back in an hour and half and talk to Cindy? Huh? Why does a customer have to go through all this? I mean it’s not like I don’t order from them all the time because we do. We love Papa John’s but at the same time this is the crappiest disservice I have encountered with them. Why are you inconveniencing a customer that has obviously already talk to shift leader, Jordan? Why are there no notes in the system? I asked and he wouldn’t even look. Soooo frustrated. Ok vent...
Read moreThe absolute WORST restaurant in this area, and we have McDonald’s and IHOP. In addition to subpar pizza, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
I ordered a very large order, and once again, their staff stole from us. When I called to complain about the order not being completely delivered, the first person I spoke with said that she “would let her manager know.” No apology, no offering to let me speak to a manager, no offer to refund me for their mistake….nothing. So, I called back to speak with the manger, and “one of the managers” (as she put it) was just as incapable as the cashier. After tallying up what was left off my delivery, she couldn’t understand why I would want her to come get my pizza and give me a refund vs waiting on her to deliver the product that I paid for and they didn’t deliver. She then spoke to “her colleague”, and collectively they decided that they “wouldn’t be able to do anything for and that I should call the GM tomorrow.” For $86, we could have had MICH better pizza from Johnny’s Pizza, who also doesn’t steal from their customers.
The only positive thing to say about this restaurant is that their delivery driver is super nice and very friendly. Maybe the Area Manager should hire him as the GM and fire the rest...
Read morePOOR HYGIENE. Purchased a large pizza for carry out. When I walked through the doors I immediately noticed a large amount of flies flying around the boxes of pizza. Then I looked to the left and observed a rack of pizza dough that had bugs crawling on multiple racks of dough. Then I saw flies walking and landing on the dough as well. I informed the person at the register that flies and bugs were on the pizza dough and she just said “ok”. I proceeded with the transaction only to see my kids faces in the car and I immediately walked back into the store returned the pizza and asked for a refund. No remorse, explanation, or apology was given but I was promptly refunded. There is no way I could risk feeding my family this pizza after seeing what I saw. If all of this was in the front for a customer to see, then I can only imagine what I was unable to see. I would stay away and would not eat here. No way I’d play Russian Roulette with my immune system or gut for that matter. You’re taking an unknown chance by eating this food, it’s...
